  1. We have around 6 or 7 players/companies building on our island, yet somehow they get removed from the active Settlers all the time (which affects the tick duration). It seems they only get added the first time they build/log and then just drop off the list...

According to another thread just to consolidate findings in this one location!  Player Shops can be put in free ports at the price of 1Gold Per Minute 2400 Gold per day lol!!!!!!!!

What a steal.. gonna put up a few of them right away 😉

They also cost 60g to craft..

  3. Same economical principles they apply to the game itsself aswell 😉 The amount you would have to sell there and the prices youd have to ask for will never work. The game doesnt even have a big enough playerbase to sustain that. Much like the Island points and the whole claim system it seems to be aimed at a playerbase size they already lost long time ago.

  4. Do that for PvP is you must. I dont get whats so hard for the devs to get that for the PvE part a lot of players just want to build in peace with an acceptable decay timer. I play in a small company with rl friends, it should be possible to enjoy the content with a decent group of players without forcing us to join some random Mega or pay 50% taxes and risk the chance that some "funny" random decided to remove what we built.

On the last PvE we claimed a small part of an Island and just did our thing. This is pretty much impossible now. Thanks Grapeshot.

  5. I wouldnt worry too much, not anyone feels like doing their alpha testing/bug squishing for them. They didnt even make an effort to make sure we can actually test stuff properly. I was one of those 2k who actually did make the effort, just to find out that they didnt even get the basics to work. The new zone is completely messed up, tons of clipping errors, nodes you cant harvest, basic resources missing, respawning under the islands, resource respawns in your buildings, walls/ceilings keep dissapearing, etc... What youd expect from a rushed "quick fix".

I wish they would actually move the release date back a few weeks and sort that crap out (and that inculdes the tames falling through walls problems). A lot of returning players will not be bothered to stay long if the first thing they see is all those bugs.

Sitting here thinking about the over 50% taxes I pay in real life. 😞

Yeah which is exaclty why i dont need it in a game i play for fun aswell 😛 Next we need to pay into health insurance and pension for our "pirates" 😛

i just spoke with jat he was in L7 in the prt fixing some rain affects, and I asked him was it still going live on the 11th of apr and he said yes it is.

They said that for every deadline they had so far. They also said that there was no console cheating. And a "steam account breach". so yeah.

I should also point out that actual slaves had no say in who their masters were. You may feel that the new claim system is like forced slavery, but in that case at least you get to shop around for your master.

It is a feudal system, full stop. And sadly you cant really "shop around" a lot, once you built all your stuff there it is a certain commitment to that island. Not t mention that you are at someones good will, as they can change it at any point as they see fit. If i learned one thing, especially in games with no sub... if the system promotes being a douche, chances are very high it will attract a lot of them.

  9. Superfun if you build somewhere with ok taxes and the Slavemaster decides to change it at some point. The fact that they even raised that crappy system from 30 to 50% shows how disconnected they are from their own game. I guess it doesnt matter much if you are used to console commands.

There was a topic, literally one below yours that already discusses taxation.

If you dont sit here refreshing the already open page it is not, and the "suggested topics" didnt bring up squat.
