Well the alpha is gonna kill ya a good majority of the time. And a crock killed ya, no big deal. Stuff happens, spawn at your bed and get your stuff back, rinse/repeat.

I got one put up but it was kinda goofy.

The pin code bot is stupid simple. Admin lock behind a door for now, surely they will add more options later, like as one said a lockout period was added in ARK.

Too many playing they will never wipe. There will be a new set of servers and they will let this one slowly decay.

Well as far as I know you can declare war and if they accept you can duke it out. So no.

Heard a lot of complaints on here about the ghost ships but today we got to go out with out first real attempt at treasure hunting and exploration.

It was a blast, and I really have to say hats off to the coding with the ship controls, sails rudder etc. No we dont have a crew or gun ports etc we just went out with the schooner to see about exploring and finding treasure. When we left I told the wife "dont take anything you are not prepared to lose". From outrunning to outmaneuvering to getting pummeled by cannon fire it was a riot!

Being noob sailors we deserved to be obliterated from all the posts I had been seeing, so if you changed some things they seemed to be pretty good from what we experienced, and yes they were all over.

Good times and cant wait to start shooting back, lol.

From what I can tell it is updating the location that you are seeing in Physics back to the server. Normally physics just renders on the client side and goes away, like a wall breaking or something getting destroyed. Apparently some locations need to be sent back to the server. Say where you are on the waves or something.

That,s my best guess but I would keep it as high as you can.

Is the onboard completely disabled? Is Intel HD graphics driver installed?

OK you know HD graphics is pretty bad right? Seems to me there is a process/diver for intel unrelated to the graphics borks this.

Try disable menu transitions in settings. There was another one that used to give me fits in ARK but cant find it sorry.

You get to choose what you level up in, if you are "saving those skills" for something else, that's your decision.

Its free meat, hide, etc etc, extra level up bonus the more you can cope with it.

Just pike it through the wall, dont waste arrows.

Delete those ini files, let the game recreate them when it starts and see if it changes anything.

Just the fact that it says to make the ini files read only tells me they dont have a clue. Its an EA game but lets make sure to not let the devs write fixes to the ini, right?
