@Phoenix125 Hey man! I just came accross your program here! I was looking at the "other guys" program but he up and abandoned his project so i am looking at yours! I have a question. I am wanting to host a server, 1 or 2 or maybe 3 grids, on my pc and play on said server with myself, a friend and my wife. I have configured and played on my own dedicated Conan server, but i was wanting to know what EXACTLY do i need to do to set this up for my use? I know i'm asking for a pretty detailed explanation, but i tried setting this up and the server started (i think) but i could not find my server on neither the internet nor the lan section on steam. When i run a server, what IP and Port should i use to find it? Should i use my local 192 IP or the public ip? Should i not be able to see it under the lan servers in steam (like i was able to on conan)?

LOTS of question and i apologize, but i always get the feeling im doing something wrong....Maybe a guide specifically for what im trying to do would help? BTW i REALLY love the layout of your program. It is 100% the easiest to follow server manager i have found while not sacrificing a lot of customization! And i specifically want to thank you for making it able to modify your Game.ini and GUS.ini for the entire grid with a click of a single freakin button!!!!!

But yes, i would appreciate some detailed instructions on what exactly i need to do, beginning AFTER i download/install the server files from steam.

Wow, so they are doing this the day AFTER they said they are going to do it. And with zero notification. Then you have to go to freakin twitter to find out a damn thing...

So i am playing on the NA Colonies and i would like to know how to claim an island??? I see SOME islands cost Island points but what the heck are they and how do i get or see how many i have? I have a company of me and my buddy. What can we claim?

I would also like to know where i can find out how many we have??? And also why most islands cannot even be claimed?

100% the stupidest thing Grapeshot has ever done. You guys are idiots. There was nothing wrong with them and now you done gone and screwed them all up.

I say YES to this. The fact that you can hardly fully load out a galleon with cannons and crew. The base weight is almost maxed with that alone. God forbid you want to carry enough ammo for a while. Or what if you actually want to carry enough resources to make ample repairs......No there needs to be a huge increase in ship weight capacity.

Posting things like Harvest rates, XP rates, Skill points per levels, stat points per levels, stuff like that should be mandatory when advertising a server. Wish people would think about stuff like this.

Agreed, and even if the mod was added to Official, guess what.....That mod just became Official and is no longer a mod anymore LOL!

Honestly, 3/4 of the community of games like this could give two craps for official servers...... Official servers are 100% toxic and always will be. They are on Ark, they are on Conan, they are in this game. Officials is where players who have yet to experience a good unofficial server or are a toxic player, go to play. Officials are a waste of time and resources for games like this. If they focused on just the game it'self then this game would be perfect. I understand "Officials" provide a baseline for unofficial servers, but at the same time, they are another world entirely. Grapeshot could just provide a game with a good base, then let the modding community make every players dream come true. 

As is, i love this game. I look at all the hateful comments and laugh. To be honest, this game has done great for a EA game. It's so much more then what i thought it was going to be when i bought it. You can call it Ark 2.0 all you want, i LOVE Ark, and this game is like a whole new world of Ark. There is so much possible in this world, so much potential. 

My message to you Grapeshot: Keep at it! The amount of work you guys are putting into patches is very impressive. Just one word of advice: DO NOT listen to all the "Streamers" who your supporting. Half of them don't know their head from a hole in the ground when it comes to games. Listen to your general player base! Listen to the players here supporting YOU GUYS! Hear our pleas and take some of our words to heart! After all, if you guys benefit, we benefit! It goes both ways!

Need help fast please, we cannot play the game!

I have a Nitrado 1x2 grid A1 and B1 with a private server password. If i try to sail to B1, i get DC'd and told wrong password?

Has anyone found where you can implement the optimized harvest setting on a Nitrado Server? Or even a list of resources to use to set the individual harvest rates for each one in order to stop the resources harvest lag you get on a higher rate server. My elephant has turned into the new Doedicuris, the Server ENDER!

SO i just got a 2x1 grid cluster from Nitrado. 1 Home server plus 1 expansion server for a total of 2 grids. I would like to know if there is a guide for creating a custom map on both grids. I'd like to be able to setup islands, and everything for an up-to-date play for my friends and myself. I am new to this editor but i have a pretty good understanding of most the game. After looking at a lot of guides, they all seem to just explain how to edit one already made not one from scratch.

So, can you guys get off your butts and release the damn army of the damned patch for unofficial servers so i can sail and not have to worry about 50 FUCKING ships raping my ship the moment i try to sail......................................You know, would be great....... There really is NO REASON for them to take so damned long.

Grapeshot, you guys need to REVERSE the skill point change last patch. It was stupid as hell. Now even at my level, 43, you can't even master barely 1 Skill tree. The way it was before was JUST FINE. So CHANGE IT BACK!

For one thing i am in a group. It's just me and my buddy but he is not on all the time and i don't like to have to be 100% reliant on ANYONE other then myself. So forcing people into a group is the stupidest thing they could ever do. 

For one, most people i have came across are 100% jerks and i refuse to be around total♥♥♥♥♥♥bags. Finding a mature player is like a needle in a haystack. Finding one that plays during your time, your server, and close to your style....that is impossible. So this skill change has just about made me not even want to play this game anymore.

Look Grapeshot, some of us players actually bought this game even tho the HORRIBLE HORRID MASSIVLEYbad reviews. We had faith you guys would make this game better by listening to the people SUPPORTING the game. But this change was NOT FOR THE BETTER....

Do you guys realize how BORING has hellthe game would be for anyone who could only specialize, in say,  Seamanship??? WHO THE HELL in their right mind would want to just be able to sit there and make ships and not even be able to kill things or make armor, or anything else because they are worthless at it. This is totally stupid.
