this is correct u need to replace all old flags or u risk getting claims taken

I would also recommend adding another PvP and PvE server cluster to each region worldwide. No need to pack in so many players.
1 ismt enough unless u want to put your house on the beach as well , 2 is the minimum u need for a good are to build large shpyards those thing are huge , and then have base further inland ,or may u want to move neaeer an area so u really do 2 then u can have a large claim or 2 small ones on separate areas on the map

because 1 flag isnt enough u cant have it on beach for shipyards and a base on land minimum flags ahould be 2, with a max maybe 4 per person ,

this , adding to his try talking to players on the grid im sure if u come across as a nice guy there will be someone willing to demolish a flag or 2 so u can build shipyard at beach

i have lost 2 sloop snow , ok so may not be able to kill 3 - 4 ghost ships but could at least have chance with schooner or brigand to take on one maybe 2 with extreme skill and proper player manned crew

1 would not be enough u need minimum 2 for shipyard and bases away from beach

My position is that they need to fix land claim during the first three days a server is fresh. After that, inactivity or failure to respond to a claim challenge (likely due to distance from your final base) take care of this. And it still might! Again, we are just barely seeing the start of decay timers hitting their end.
You don't really know yet if this problem is resolved by the existing systems. Not enough time has passed.
some one gets it , id say ther will a lot of fresh spots over the next week or so . more so when people go back to work

wow was suprised at the gold cost for crew member 1 gold per 0.8 of an hour thats pretty steep which means we have to spend a huge amount of time at sea searching treasure , flotsams etc , more so if u had multiple crew ,
and yes i know its a game based at sea but the bigger the ship the more crew needed the cost would be huge ,
this is a game not a real life job

confirmed that both light house and buoy will break resource spawns. Removing them restored resource spawns on several islands.remove all buoys and lighthouses.
i removed my 3 buoys and all resources began to repop within 20 mins ,
Personally think the dynamic map is a pile of unreliable untrue bullshit.
