    not a 2 per player including if in a company should be limite per company , 1-10 player 6 flags 10-25 players 12 flags 25-50 players 20 flags that imo would be perfect amounts 

    20 flags can cover a good half of a small island or a very large area on a larger island , pre wipe i had 14 flags the area they covered was massive , more than i needed but i did get the tax as they covered the metal nodes

    the tax doesnt come out of your farming as per the patch notes on pve , try reading and keeping up with the changes

    only for the first 24 hrs of soemthing being placed , u want to be safe go buil don one of the larger unclaimed islands , they wont be claimed anytime soon

    has to be on the ground itself u get a percentage pop up , i have mine on 60% fertile ground in the desert all 8 are full over the weekend so have 96000 water ,

    i think slowly island owners are realising unless they want to spend all thier time gold hunting they need to allow others to build to keep the cost down ,

    wrong there is plenty of land left im in g4 on an unclaimed larger island if u get built up fast enough after 24 hours your stuff is safe even if the island gets claimed , there are maybe 4 other companys on the island , there is also a huge amount of players that i have seen with messages on their islands welcoming people to settle as it cost them less the more compansy settle , 

     

    chance of the larger islands being claimed is very low less than 10% chance 

     

    so to say there is no land left is just plain old fashioned bullshit

They are asking for a ship which is literally the weakest slowest ship in the game, which was heavily nerfed, to be able to actually do something. 

    you are contradicting yourself , why does it need to be anything but a transport to get out of freeport ? u say it doesnt need to compete yet u go on to say it needs to , when it is fulfiling what is meant to be a ship to get out of freeport with the basics of matrials to get you started where u decide to set up .the nerf was good i hope it stays like it .

Now they will have a much harder time starting out, playing, or recovering from being wiped. The starter ships should be viable. They were not a "threat" to real ships nor taking their place in anything. There is and was literally no reason to change it. All changing it has done is make the new player experience and the solo/small company player experience a lot more awful. These types of changes drive players away. It would be different if the game had this mass of noob ships ripping the game apart balance wise and taking the role of other ships. but that is not happening. The old ramshackle was a terrible version of a real sloop. They could have buffed the raft to its current levels and still not have messed with the sloop. The only reason they did this is to make players try and take the raft. Which STILL sucks. The ramshackle with its weight and speed limits is a snail on the water, cant out run anything. Useless. These changes are an especially big deal on the PvP server. 

    how does it , u sail away from freeport get to island start building your new and better ships , it isnt meant as a boat u keep in any shape of form , once again too many players dont want to work towards goals they want everything handed to them with little to no effort ....

    which is kind if the point the start sloop isnt meant to be anything but that a ship to get u out of freeport , imo should never have been an option the raft should have been the only option at freeports

    but u know what ? the devs think their new system is working  according to their latest captains log , can they not see that lawless regions are still the most popular areas to setup ?, are they so blind that they cannot see that players want thier own little areas free from any form of landlord that can remove anything they place within 24hrs if they so feel. ?

    what makes the devs think that their new idea is better than what the majority of players are showing via the areas they setup and build and play ,?

    remove the claim as it is, give players back the old system with hard limits per player/ company then maybe they will see a lot more of the map being populated .

    They need to revert to the old claim system, and give every individual player 3 claim flags, in or out of a company. 

    that would be too much imo 2-3 per player,with a  max of 10 per company if they need more than that then maybe freeport offers additional flags for 10,000 gold per, but keep some upkeep cost for the first 10 low, after that it doubles per additional flag this way at least if u want more than your fair share u will have to pay for it ..

    didnt think it would be long to start seeing them demanding certain islands once the empires was shut down ... now the devs just need to raise the limit a few more times to keep the megas happy , and the little guys in their place ....

    we know its pvp but the colonies was designed for the smaller companies , now the empires didnt work out they are all on colonies with their 30 alliance zergs ,

    get your act together devs and make a plan for this game and actually stick to it ,

  14. bear i find easy if its head it through the doorway just stand directly in front if it at max range doesnt hit u , rhino is just under and behind its chin near front leg , elephant is similar behind front leg try to have a raised tame pen this help greatly as u can almost stand underneath the tame , far easier to tame this way

    i have mine set on 60% ground , if no percentage comes up when placing the reservoirs they wont fill up , 

     

    barrels i havnt seen mine fill up no percentage option on barrel when placing so dont think this mechanic is for them 


  16. u mean annoying for megas they wanted to play with the small companys on colonies , 

     

    the 50 limit was for a reason to stop the large companies from playing colonies and just serging the smaller ones , once again the devs backtrack on thier own statements , as the empires server was a complete failure they have done a u turn

  18. its frustrating as they claim to be working towards helping the small / solo companys then do this , i dont understand wht they are doing to the game , mind u i dont think they know what they want this game yo be , they cant seem to make up their minds wether its a sea pirate fantasy game or ark in pirate fantasy setting
