If they had a way to keep leveling and getting more skill points maybe this would be balanced... but if it stops at level 51 like the character sheet says... it's like you'll spend all your points on 1/2 of one tree...

Good thoughts, I just went into a lawless zone and saw them for the first time... cool looking but the place is just swarming with NPC ships now, there's no way this is balanced -
8 points for metal tools? 26 to unlock firearms after getting archery? The old skill tree was too cheap but this is too much, we need more skills per level or like 1/2 of these skill costs

I found sap in the tropical freeport from generic-looking bushes called Wax Plants. How can I find it in other biomes?
