We are trying to cancel Gportal. Survival Servers has a hell of a lot better starting map. Eventually i'll be able to take the Grids I've been making and uploading them to SS. They are working on full customization. I honestly can't complain though. We were trying to get a new server box up and running so we can avoid paying a hosting site. But till a new one can be purchased. Trying to run a 4x4 grid is overloading the one box. Even going down to a 2x2 CPU usage was at 90% with just 2 of us on testing. Eventually the game plan is an 8x8 grid I believe.

Lol we actually have 2 private servers up and running with 2x2 grids. I just prefer official servers when games first start. Like Martyn said. Im ok with slower xp, I don't like high rate servers it just burns the game out faster. Mods at this point. Nah not needed.

Yeah I gave ark 1.5 years on offiicals before they hacked into my base, then the non stop pillars of every new biome that went in. I went to unofficials after that. I was hoping this game would eat another 10k hours of my life. I like officials. It's a great community when there isn't toxic people everywhere. Talked to some wonderful people while sailing rafts. But limited land. Claims being overtaken even with an entire company active and now the sinking of ships that we had built before the 2.5x harvesting. Not fun.

Ah dude. He even told you to F off I did tell him to do that first. Then they went into voice chat. Kinda hard to understand a buncha Asians. I sat there with my cup of coffee and watched most of it.

Rest of the tribe logged in. They sunk all the schooners, brigs, rafts. Oh im not even logged in atm. Im reading it all in discord.

Eh they aren't that bad. Our cluster has one through Gportal and one through Survival Servers. The map editor is pretty nice. Takes a bit to get a handle on it. Great Atlas Server Help Discord to get your grids running so you have all biomes and power stones.

I get its only 7 days. But first impressions normally stick-It's been a pretty bad one. I know Ark's first few months were rocky but it was still playable. They have their sister company that went through these same pitfalls and the knowledge to go with it but it almost feels like they aren't using all the tools at their disposal . It's like an abusive spouse. How many times do you get beat up before you say. This isn't worth it. I have now hit that point on Officials.

I honestly wish they never woulda said they had a pve server option. I wouldn't have bought the game had I known this is what it was gonna be like. I love eating crow every day as my husband tells me. Told you so!

Yeah. its called FTP in and setup the private server. Officials aren't worth it. They can have their 40k players of all Chinese on the NA PVE map. Hope they hit their goals.

Well if they enjoy losing people to game breaking bugs. We've already had people take half or our claims with over 11 people in company running around. Now they are sinking our stuff. Not only do they need to work on stability. exploits should be their main priority. Yeah I realize that its a sister company of Ark but this is just nuts. The game is ceasing to be fun when I can't even have a cup of coffee without the Asian Invasion hacking into our buildings and sinking our rafts. It's NA-pve. Sorry but Asians need their own server and region lock them out of this cause they are griefing everyone on L10

This entire company is over here sinking our stuff and trying to steal things. They've sunk 3 rafts and now working on the sloops. Something needs to be done about this. its a pve server.

Oh respawning at home region gets your hud back for those that have lost it.

Lol Unfair. No HUD for you either. ive tried logging out/in several times. Died. Backspace. Cant get it back.

Yeah ive restarted twice and nothing

And lovely. Log back in after patch and I have no UI. Cant even access my ship to start the sails up. Backspace/Del isn't bringing it up. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this one? Oh tried logging out and back in too.

Eh I see it this way. I lose this raft. I'll just log out and go back to playing 7 days to die or Ark. I nearly sank the raft trying to make the stone cliff platform. Then most of the fiber I harvested by hand. Spent hours last night making a sloop to lose it in 5 mins time. I mean private servers are an option since you can diable the SoD spawns on them. But seriously the first few years I like to play on officials for the most part. Mods and stuff come later on.

Apparently we have to use Dhingy's to get resources from one place to another. I gather fiber in L8 and take it back to L10 since fiber is hard to find. Raft with a box was my shuttle...

I mean seeing that with a 10 min warning. With a stone cliff platform, all the fiber. Little cause for concern.

Just like claim flags if you have sleeping bodies and online shouldn't be able to be taken but somehow we lost 5 territories lastnight with 11 of us running around the flags. I foresee this going badly.

I'm sitting here stuck in L9 with a horrible 200 ping. Wind being horrible and 3 SoD's circling me. This patch goes live i'll lose the 5k fiber I spent all morning getting. Not happy.

So ship of the damned will now attack rafts when it goes live.... i dont care how much aggro radius is reduced. I lost a sloop lastnight on its maiden voyage on them. 3 hours and counting and i still haven't made it out of L9. Are you kidding me? SoD's need to have the same wind restrictions we do if your gonna play that game.

Well id love to see something on your own territory claim that says hey dumbass you need to refresh if that's the case.

Yeah just makes me mad that ours shoulda refreshed. With all of us running around the territory. I only slept a few hours before my cat woke me up. Woke up to even more stuff gone. So basically if you want to keep a claim you need to pick up claims and replace them daily

I'm still trying to figure out how a buncha Chinese managed to steal a good amount of claims with 10 of us online running around the island. I have one red line through a sea of green. I'm just waitng for them to hack our base next. This game makes me racist. I've watched them take over so many islands. But yet I can't contest the new flags. Even though ours were all activated and refreshed lastnight
