I farmed a raft. I farmed food and water. I set adrift into the world. I land on a far away shore. I walk for 30 seconds and I'm cut down and killed. I wait a minute to respawn on my bed. I respawn under a person shouting a language I dont know and I'm hacked to pieces along with my bed. Back to lawless. I farm a raft. I farm supplies. I set adrift yet again into the world. I sail farther and farther from the first island. I arrive on a shore starving and dying of thirst and vitamin deficiency. I'm greeted by armored Scottish folks who invite me to their company. I join and set about making a home. Im directed to a mountain. I set upon making my small base. I get to the point I need stone and metal. JACKPOT! IM ON A MOUNTAIN! I grab a pick and a hatchet. I climb all over this huge mountain looking for stone or metal. How can this be? There are no rocks or metal on a mountain made of rocks and metal! There is no one else building here. There are no foundations or structures here. I wander the beach picking up stone by hand. I grab them all and wait for them to respawn. I've burned through the small amount of metal I have and create a shovel. I dig out 11 stone and 19 wood. My shovel breaks. I am stuck with Pre-Stonage weapons and tools. I am being forced back to the sea to be killed yet again. Please please please fix this. Can we please have stone and metal spawns on mountains? That'd be so cool. Stone Water reservoirs hold 200 water. They passively collect water from rain. You can connect pipes to them to water plants or place a spigot on the pipe to give yourself water. Barrels on the other hand require the player to take off the lid during rain to fill. After the rain, make sure you close the lid or the water will evaporate. Barrels hold 500 water. I'm unsure if you can connect pipes yo them but, you should be able to. Also, with barrels, you can fill water skins with them by placing them in the water barrel inventory and waiting a few seconds. Reservoirs cannot fill skins. Hope that helps. Cheers!

Doubt that they're even able to patch interest back in the game. Refunded by Steam. Good luck guys. I'll check back in a year if it still exists.

I've given up on the game entirely because of this. My first 2 rafts were lost because of disconnects. I restarted on NA PVP a day later. Lost that whole day due to time out connections. Lost another day to my shared being down. Finally spawn in and the past 2 days there are no resources. Some islands are missing trees, some missing metal, and in the tundra there is no fiber. There really is no hope for those of us who are trying to leave the initial island. Pair that with all the land already claimed outside, the duping ships, KOS by certain groups and it really turns new players off to the game. At this point, newbs cant even make the starting pick. Unsure if fixing it will even make a difference at this point.

The latest patch seems to have stopped spawning resources. Trees do not regrow. Rocks do not respawn. There is no fiber left in most regions. Predatory animals roam mate boasted along most shores in packs of 3-5. Health is gambled at a major rate when punching trees for wood. Spending 3/4 of your health to get 6 wood for a pick doesn't seem right. In tundra areas, you will often die before getting 6 logs. Please internally test the things I've reported here. I've cobbled together a video for YouTube so you can see what it's like from a player perspective. Between that and the bed spawns not working, it's almost impossible to play in it's current state. The players who spawned during the times resources were available have a major headstart to those of us who are still stuck on the Freeport and Lawless islands. Hopefully, these bugs are fixed before the players who didnt experience bald islands covered in predators claim the rest of the map. Good luck guys! Bonus round: theres no way to get sap in the tundra that you need for fur suits to offset the cold damage.
