Spawning in Atlas is very ill-thought out; you cannot spawn in lawless land, and it cannot be claimed. The majority of playable area is currently in lawless land as the freeports are overcrowded, and you have to build a ship somehow just to get around. Without the ability to spawn easily near your structures in a lawless land, as you cannot spawn on a bed there, actually building that ship is nearly impossible solo, and still extremely difficult in relatively small groups; all because you will inevitably die before reaching that goal and spend at least 10 minutes per death swimming back and then another 10 just to reach where you died (hint: you die a lot in this game) so the time really adds up. Please, Atlas Devs, allow spawning in lawless lands even if it is unclaimable, it'd really help.
