Sometimes when you start the building of it in the shipyard it glitches and you have to rebuild it.

Myself and my group of about 5 people starting to build a schooner and about halfway through the trees we kept clearing on our island stopped respawning and now we are stuck on our island. Here is a screenshot of our island, completely barren of trees.
