  1. 3 speed sails... Handling sails are junk and only good for an expanded 15 degrees..   Even with all red sails SPeed beats handling in the same wind. 

    As it stand handling arnt any good. Weight only if your spending most your tyime above 85% weight..

  2. I salvage ships all the time.. People leave them unachonred, loose them to the SOTD or storms.. Great loot. with the skills you get almost 75% of a ships cost by salvaging.. Salvaged a gally made 2 brigs and a schooner. 

    There are several skills in that tree that are sill helpful.  Eagle eye, KOO.

    Granted the last 2 arent helpfull in PVE. but the rest of it is. 

    As far as delcaring war doesnt matter if you catch them online or not of even have the comp ID. As the other company has to accept the war.  And unless they want to fight they wont. apart of PVE. 

    Yes the abandond ship stuff is lame and that does need a fix. But even your suggestions were either i can sink it if i want to or its treated like a flag.  If its treated liek a flag then nothign changes they can keep renewing it.  

    and agree they should find a better way to stop the peopel on ships thing

    Theres a million things i could ask for but only asking for 2

    We need something to gather thatch. nothing gathers thatch better than a player with a pick right now.

    ALSO. While we are taking about animals..

    Tier 3 breeding please enable.

    Breeding in general NEEDS to be fixed. Baby heat/cold will kill them like crazy BUT the biggest problem is they will not eat if your not in render range.. 42 hours on a bear 58 on a horse and i loose them when i take a 4 hour nap IRL..

    PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP I'm literally begging... 

    Will give you my first Atlas born child if you do.

  4. This bear was killed instantly 30 seconds after this was taken while sailing. 

    The Temperatures for breeding need a MASSIVE update.  @Jatheish

    A Bear for instance. take 40 hours to mature.  Even on a temperate server it will die in a mater of hours when a heat wave makes it 20C.

    The Stasis needs to be fixed so that an animal will eat.

    Wasted 20 hours sitting here with this bear cause the heat wave and the Cold Fronts want to kill the bear.. as well as cant leave render or it starves.

    1. How can I claim a ship that I can't even get on? Instead we get the floating "bug" and you can't do anything except die or hope someone grapples you out.

    Also, having to knock someone out to handcuff them... sure... that's cool. But they can still run away when they wake up. Grappling Hook isn't exactly great looking (or efficient) when dragging someone to a cage or something.

    2. Maybe enable the Bludgeon to be able to knock out anyone in PVE (does no damage, just increases Torpor). It would help when trying to arrest and punish bad visitors.

    3. But... basically almost the entire Piracy Tree is useless.

    4. I have abandoned boats in my Harbor that have been there for weeks and I can't even claim them as a pirate!

    5. This needs to be fixed. Especially for PVE.

    Pirates and Captaineering people should be the only ones that can board/claim ships... While they are anchored.

    Consider each ship has a flag and there should be an appropriate flag timer. Of course Pirates with the last Skill can declaim faster.

    This will help fix the abandoned boats issues in PVE without having to wait for 3 weeks of inactivity when it only takes 1 spawn to "reset" it for another 3 weeks.

    Treat each ship as flags, just like land claims. Pirates can claim ships faster. Cannot be claimed until the flag timer runs down due to inactivity. The more ships the company has, the lower the timer is... just like with land claims as they are now.

    Ok first thing that covers all of this is simple.. This is PVE. player vs Environment. Everything you listed here is on the PVP servers. 90% of this will never work on PVE with out declaring war.

    1. This is no "bug" This is the fix for people climbing on ships and sinking them with over weight or over crew, as its PVE there is no way for someone to destroy someones ship in PVE

    2. This is PVE there is no way for a player to attack or knock out a player outside their companies, Nor will there ever be a way to do this on PVE. Unless your in a war with a company.

    3. This is untrue there are several aspects of this tree that are usefull. The Diving suit, and the salvaging get you alot of mats from a sunk ship, The Shovel perks get you more mats like worms. the entire left side of the tree alows you to fight AOTD better and lets you see treasure easier

    3. There is a patch coming that will remove all inactive ships. they tried the patch but they messed up some coding and it needed to be sent back to testing.

    4. Nothing you have listed here will be implemented as it is all clearly PVP, If you want these features you need to switch to a PVP server were everything you have listed is active.


  6. Here is a video showing off the use of the Declaring war in PVE.  Steps to declare included

    1. An Owner of a Company is the only one who can DECLARE war.

    2. When declaring war you can set start time and end time of the war.

    3. An Owner or Admin of the other company MUST accept the war.

    4. It appears all alliances will be included in the war.

    5. When war starts FIGHT.

    6. When war ends cry.

    There are no logs made at this time for wars.  No ship combat was tested at this time but it appears that they are included.

    Tribe members in OTHER servers did NOT see the messages of war as seen in the video.

    You can NOT declare war on a current Ally.

    Really? one of the 2 IDs on there i filed a report for sinking my ships PRE-Patch. So yha its not that.

    If you really think you can do things that are considered griefing and get away with it cause its not in COC. GL.


  8. We in the PVE community would like to suggest a re-balance of the Handling sails as follows

    Current.- Handling sails have roughly 15 degrees more that they can reach "Good" wind. After that they go into the red and loose out to the speed sails.

    Suggestion - Rework the angles so that the Handling sail never goes into red.  Instead the lowest it can get is orange.. Extend the green area of the sails "Good -Green" and "ok - yellow" wind area to cover around 70 degrees the remaining 30 degrees would be "Ehh - Orange" Wind.

    They do ban when theres evidence.. My trolls on my server were banned. His steam ID is on that ban list.  It may take time and defiantly wont happen if you don't provide good evidence.

    THey need to first be on the cannons then can be stood up before right shift will work.  If they have beenb off the cannons for more than a few hours will not worth to sit them again
