Crab wheel is your prize for doing a quality 16 or higher.  If you do not want to see it then click one of the options on the left side of your inventory window.  I forget what its called, but once you click that it and the other freebies like pirate hat are removed from the view.  Click again to bring them back. 

All of the Golden Aged Ruins servers have them.  One of them has 2. 

Go to your atlas.  Click on the power stone feat on the right side of the screen.  That should put stones on your atlas.  If you do not have it, it will be black.  If you do have it it will have the corresponding color for that particular islands stone.

My guess is the current server issues has a lot to do with it.  When your client is constantly de-synched with the servers its going to create a lot of knock off effects.  If your client and the server disagree on the elephants location, orientation,  etc it can be damn near impossible to tame them. 

I am in a mega and I do not like the idea of tracking individuals for multiple reasons.  Numbers however are handy for everyone in predicting attacks or just plain looking for trouble.

Its inaccurate after zoning.  Sometimes there is a small cluster of 2-3 of them and you get there and there are none.  Sure someone might have grabbed them, but then you find a cluster of them and they do not show up on the map.  If I am hunting in a golden age I wait to get there before I pop the sextant buff so its accurate.  I've never seen it accurate if I started it before I zoned. 

Cannons have increased damage against shipyards.  Easily destroyed.

Its assumed they are lawless, otherwise all they have to to is wipe them if they owned the island. 

I agree in that player names should not be exposed to outside services.  Player count however I believe is ok.

Sextant's are bugged.  The only zone that the shipwreck location markers on the map will be accurate is the zone you started the buff in.  When you zone it will no longer be accurate.  

Where are people seeing this new map?

Next time I intend to attack a structure I will hire a private investigator to learn the players history.  Only once I know this person is a savy veteran will I attack.

I think the logging is jacked up.

Couple days ago we had 5 ships sunk.  All missing at least 1 plank and a couple 3-4.  The planks were listed as being destroyed in logs, but no log of them sinking and who did it. 

Many of my friends and I refuse to touch anything EA does.  I know there are many around the world who swear the same and hopefully most of them actually do it.

Eh worth a shot.  Maybe enough people do it and forces their hand.

If you don't get in trouble for aimbotting I doubt you would get in trouble for naming them. 

PvE?  Spawn somewhere else.  PvP?  Tame a bear and put a cannon on a cart.  Blow it up......or spawn somewhere else and build one. 

I doubt the money they bring in from new sales outpaces the costs of running those servers at this point. 

Grapeshot games does not have a wiki page.  Maybe someone here can set one up and let the world know how well things are going by listing a timeline of events.

Yeah its the internet and people behave like children because they are protected behind an avatar.  If a lot of the people here on the forums acted the same way in real life and in particular professional life they would not be very successful.  I've complained about it as well.  Its a lost cause. 

Its instanced.  I hate MMO's that do this.  I love my large persistent world where everyone sees the same damn thing.
