Nice attempt at belittling my post little child.

I went on to the review section, clicked on today for negative reviews (which was yesterday), there was only one and that was it. I didn't spend time searching for a specific review, and my point was to show an example of a negative review, so why would I pick a positive review?

I'm sorry that you are incapable of understanding the point, so you make a fool of yourself by assuming and belittling. My point was to show how such reviews hurt the game, so there was nothing wrong with my example was there because it does hurt the game.

You are acting as if my point was to say how crap this game is and just pick up crap reviews about it.

    Again, nice try troll.

    a bit touchy eh?

seems like a bit of projection here, sorry my post hurt you this badly  😉

It's also reviews like this that hurt the game:

For those that can't see it for any reason, not sure if you need a Steam account, but basically this is what it says:

    Negative Review
    "Horrible game."
    0.0 hrs last two weeks
    0.3 hrs on record
Review left on 27th July 2019

So what we have here, is someone that has played ATLAS for a total of around 18 minutes. 18 minutes is not long enough for a game of this type. The player has also not played in the last two weeks at all, yet left the negative review today, 27th July.

Now you may say that anyone with an ounce of a brain would look at that review and take zero notice of it because of the length of time played, the quality of the comment, and the fact they haven't played for at least two weeks yet still decided to post a neg review today.

But, this is where the issue is, because people won't spend the time skimming through all the reviews and reading all the comments. Most people will look at the % and make a decision. So reviews like this hold more power because of that. These types of reviews are very common unfortunately.

this seems a bit like seeing what you were looking for, there are countless examples of positive reviews from people with very little time played as well but that wouldn't make the point you are looking for does it?

A great Xbox release could bring players back to the PC version as well.

how will there be a "great Xbox release"?

you know this game is a dumpster fire right?

a different platform isn't going to change that.

completely off topic, Ark is seeing some huge improvements after the relocation of several employees, wonder where they ended up?

Why are you complaining about ARK on Atlas forums?

that's the thing all the cool kids are doing now, complain about anything anywhere for any reason or no reason at all.

I'm not sure how to feel about this, glad he's a console kiddy on one hand but on the other he would be worth a meat run or two if he was on PC.

@Realist congrats on 2k posts on a gaming forum of a game that you don't even play, that really says something, not sure you want to know what it says but it really says something!

  5. As much as I love reading your "constructive feedback" on these forums it may be a good idea to find a term other than "megas", there is such a pitiful amount of people still remaining in this game spread across several official servers and countless private servers, I hardly think that term still holds any meaning, what constitutes a "mega" now, 50 person company? 20?

As far as their actions on this issue I read it as - we have no way to find/take action against the people who have this setup so we will attempt to frighten them into getting rid of them on their own.

We all know the track record these guys have for enforcement on serious issues let alone something like this...

  6. I have no interest in them "listening to me" but nice effort at putting words into someone else's mouth.

If you were here to do anything other than white knight for a brutally flawed game you wouldn't need someone to spell out for you all of the HATED parts of the game, they have been discussed here since day 5 or 6 when they actually got the game stable enough for a few people to join the servers and shit themselves to death from eating too many berries.

The simple fact that a couple months into the pre alpha version of this game they are taking it down to do a complete revamp says they are listening to some of the criticism of the broken systems, if they are willing to change enough of their favorite bad ideas is yet to be seen.

but please continue with your fandom, it is a fantasy game so by all means keep with your fantasies of how awesome Atlas is, the dozens of people still playing surely agree with you.

Hang in there all. I started early with ARK and it turned out to be a gem in the end 🙂

The difference is with Ark they had a game plan and slowly added assets until their complete vision was built into an actual game, it was sometimes bumpy, sometimes they made bad balance decisions and what not but for the most part they used EA to complete their vision for the game.

Atlas feels more like a bunch of people had a bunch of random ideas that they thought could be mashed together into a game and in very short order they found out that nearly all of their "great" ideas were hated by most of the people who were actually playing their game {I have never seen evidence that any of the people making this game actually play it} and that is an entirely different problem. but back to the numerous systems in the game that just aren't fun for most of their player base the declining population forced them to pretty much remake their entire roadmap for the game including the very core game systems, will they come up with a better plan this time around? who knows, but with their overall resistance to listen to the people playing their game I wouldn't expect them to change enough of the disliked parts of this game to draw masses of players back and don't fool yourselves, without masses a game like this won't be fun.

it was not an accusing, it was just a question....because its really expensive to make for a small tribe 🙂

"i suspect cheating. their tribe name is black clock and live in b15. "

    not an accusation, got it.

  9. Putting a ? at the end of an accusation doesn't mean shit when his statement names and accuses them of cheating because his Bob ass hasn't played enough to know about blueprints.

Everything everyone else has isn't duped because they have more than you.

Every time you get killed isn't the result of the other guy hacking.

You are not special no matter what mommy told you.

Nut up and stop crying about everything that you don't understand on the forums.
