  1. The blueprint for the submarine hull is in the same folder, this spawns a working submarine ingame:

    "BlueprintShip":"Blueprint'/Game/Atlas/Vehicles/Ships/Submarine/Ship_BP_Submarine.Ship_BP_Submarine'",
    "BlueprintHull":"Blueprint'/Game/Atlas/Vehicles/Ships/Submarine/ShipHull_BP_Submarine.ShipHull_BP_Submarine'"

You can find the correct path and blueprint name by browsing the atlas folder to the desired .uasset files.

    e.g : <ATLAS INSTALL FOLDER>\ShooterGame\Content\Atlas\Vehicles\Ships\Submarine

I hope they will keep 3x breeding weekends! Its just awesome

I agree, or at least do it more often besides the usual harvesting etc! Although it still takes hours and hours from the start until full maturity, it's actually doable for players like me who can't spend that much time on the game. I'm having a blast these last days with the breeding and searching for new potential breeding candidates. I completely forgot (and couldn't care less) about the boring resource gathering, which I'm normally doing on these weekends.

Breeding is so fast, when I was on a short trip away from base, even my guard bears had time to do the sexy thing and gave birth without me noticing lol. rip that little one.

Our trees are not respawning, and we need those 😞 Our tundra island does not have that many trees to begin with. I am getting desperate and just demolishing anything that might be blocking spawns of them - still no good results.

I'm also on a (small) tundra island and nothing around my base respawned after yesterday's last patch. The island is so small, if there were more settlers there wouldn't be any resources left and indeed turning it into a wasteland. This doesn't seem right.

  4. You can install a css addon for your browser, like StyleBot for Chrome. With these addons you can define a style (or get rid of certain style features) for every website you visit frequently and you're not dependent on the devs design choices.

e.g. This is the (top of the) page of these forums as how I see it:

I like a lot of the changes. But not starting the grind from zero. That's just too much. Even if we just kept are level and skill points it would not be so bad. Starting from zero is too much of a bitter pill.

I agree. I can put up with having to start with zero resources, bases, tames, ships and land. Rather not, but it comes with the EA territory. But losing my character, leveling, discoverypoints etc. is too much. That's a showstopper for me.

  6. Although it's hard to give up my invested base, ships and tames after grinding hard as a solo on PVE, it was expected.

But tbh I somehow didn't expect them to also wipe character progress (leveling, powerstones, beating the kraken etc), especially on PVE.

That's a bit too much for me and I'll probably give this game a rest for now.  Maybe try it again in the future to see how it developed. It was fun while it lasted!

  7. It's very easy on this powerstone. Hardly any enemies outside the cave, people are just chilling in front of it lol.

Almost did it on first try, and made it on second try. Took longer to gather resources for my ramshackle.

Anchor on the east (-26.47, 0.20) and go for it!

I've only encountered nice people on my island but I see the community becoming toxic by the day, it's not good.

I agree. We also have a bunch of dedicated friendly small groups of people on our island. Helping visitors and newcomers on their way.

Some even tried to defend against those griefers because the company which was being attacked were initially not online at that time. It's really demoralizing that nothing worked because of the exploits(?) used.

These types of unintended mechanics with such a big impact need to be handled swiftly by the devs, otherwise even the dedicated players will eventually leave the game.

  9. I really enjoy this game and can take all the current flaws for granted.

But at the moment (in grid F12, EU PVE) a group is luring SOTD's to my neighbours base and it's destroying all their ships  and buildings. Besides that, they are also able to stun everyone unconscious who is trying to help or is taking a look what is going on. Including their tames. This way everyone and especially the victims / owners of the base being attacked are held captive while the griefers have all the time in the world to keep doing what they do. How is this even an allowed mechanic on PVE?

I realise and understand you're responsible for building a defense against these SOTD's tactics (although I thought this was fixed in one of the latest patches).

What I don't understand is, and currently there is no defensive tactic against,  the ability to attack other players and their tames by knocking them unconscious.

What's the purpose of such a player vs player attack in a PVE environment? Am I missing something?

Video of the attack (in the end me and my tame were knocked unconscious):

How are you supposed to counter these kind of attacks on PVE?

  10. Thanks a lot for the help and confirmation. This was indeed the problem!

I just tested it. Moved the box to the front and the balistas immediately loaded ammo and the icons are gone. They didn't do this before.

    mBNJZlH.jpg

I'm still pretty new to using npc's and balistas etc. so I didn't know what they should do or what to expect. But it's working now!

And learned another lesson with ammo box placement on ships and such 🙂

  11. hm, thanks for the suggestion. That was the next thing I was planning to move to the front of the ship after the resource box and food larder. Since occasionaly they would shoot (and thus could reload the weapons) I was under the impression the ammo box was inside their reach. But indeed that box is on the complete other (back)side of the ship atm. I didn't know this could be a thing on a brig and it's size.

I'll move it and test if that makes a difference.  Thanks again.

  12. Does anybody know what these icons mean? They are above the npc's / balistas when I make them an active group. They won't shoot the balistas as long as these icons are there. They come and go every odd minutes.

If I would make a guess, it's a sort of mutiny symbol? Which didn't seem likely because I stuffed them with gold and food in case the ship resource box or food larder are out of reach. (I've read this could be an issue in case of mutiny). I even tried moving the resource box and food larder closer to the front of the ship, but that didn't change a thing.

    Any more info is appreciated!

  13. As a solo player I also have these moments where I have to think why I should even log on. When you've done the most things (building base and ships, taming) it's hard to justify another reason for yourself to spend your time in-game.

I still get a lot of satisfaction when I actually have a goal like building something and completing it. But after having build a way too big of a base for my solo needs, build  2 rafts, 3 sloops, 3 schooners and a brig, tamed 3 bears, 2 wolves, pigs and cows...there isn't much else to accomplish atm.

In contrast to most opinions, I actually enjoyed the fountain of youth quest. Apart from sailing to an island and finding out the fountain was already gone, it was great to have a clear mission I had to complete and knowing I could do this as a solo player.

The farming of resources gets old quick, and I'm not enjoying that for a minute anymore. But the sailing with aforementioned ships I still enjoy a lot wherever I need to go too. That is the main reason I bought this game. It would be nice to have some simple missions which consists of traveling to a certain grid/island and possibly complete a certain task which is also doable for a solo player.

PS: I'm settled on a lawless island (PVE) which is great as a 'world without claims' environment. No hostality and great solo players and small companies in my surroundings with who I trade once in a while when either of us is in need for something. Also the temperate environment with at most a wolf here and there as your greatest hazard creates a very pleasant world to live in. But it still is a world without much incentives to do anything anymore.
