I am your average clueless noob when it comes to setting up hosted servers. I want to set up a private server for a bunch of friends to play on. We plan on going with one of the usual server hosts out there (we used a handful of various ones for our Ark adventures) and I am very confused on what is needed compared to how simple it was for Ark. With Ark I just needed to set up 1 server per map. But here in Atlas, I cant seem to find what the minimum number I need to set up for us to experience most/all the features of the game. The whole 1x1, 2x2, thing is confusing as well. I see some people say you need 4x4, does that mean I need 4 servers or 16? Why 4x4? If there is somewhere I can read about this in dummy terms, I would be most appreciative if someone can point me in that direction. Thanks for any and all answers/help.

No, you arent grasping it because you are still whining. If you bought the EARLY ACCESS and installed, then you had to agree to the Terms of Service. Which if you had a clue, you would know that they can pretty much do what they want with the game and all you can do about it is whine on the forums. You somehow think they owe you more according to your own words and you also think you can run your own game, which is laughable because the only thing you have run so far is your mouth. You are the worst type of customer there is. Entitled, demanding and whiny. Those 3 things arent the worst, until you add in the fact that even tho you are unsatisfied, you just wont go away. You will play for 1000s of hours all while complaining. Businesses despise those pain in the butt customer types.

You clearly have reading issues since you arent grasping what Smooreace is ttelling you. This is further proven as true by the fact that you didnt read the TOS or understand how they work.
