    If only those opinions were not meaningless edit: I hope the devs don't think of their job as low end btw.

    Ark is a good game, so thats sad that you don't know about it.

    Anyway, unfortunately, atlas suffered development "issues" due to the apparent need for more money from sales of the game on XBOBX.

    I really don't know how you can say to me that "at least they are doing something for us" because I payed for a game that was in early access, which means that I funded the game. I don't have an XBOBx and probably never will. It may not mean much to you, but those people who have MY money should really take a look in the mirror.

    Let's take a minute to really think through this. You have companies in the past loading the season up with tons of gallys, brings, etc. You have companies spamming farmhouses everywhere they can. No company needs 4 gallys and 4 brigs per player or 10 farmhouses per island...on every island. 

    You have island points system, a discovery points system, and an xp system.  How about utilizing those to control or manage and balance out the number of ships and farmhouses a company can build or control?  Change how island points are distributed based on the xp and do of each company member to avoid companies tossing in unused accounts to boost their island points.

    If ships can only be built based on discovery points, you will reduce the amount ships a company can build initially. If each ship a company has on their fleet costs the company island points, they won't house 25 gallys and each gally and brig they do build would have specific purposes. Also, making farmhouses cost island points will encourage companies to use and place these strategically. 

    I honestly think that by doing something like this it would improve server performance, and balance things out a bit better...just my opinion.

    If you actually played this game, you would realise that there is many ships just sitting in harbor 24/7.

    Those ships don't actually have any effect on your enjoyment of the game, they are just sitting there because other people who actually know how to play the game have left them there.

    Are you trying to suggest that the "devs" nerf ship counts to improve server performance? It appears obvious that you have never been in a company that has ships.......

    What about suggesting that the devs actually improve the game, with errrrr coding and technical stuff that errr... whatever, and allow for ships in their pirate game????

    Sigh.


  5. Ok, thats pretty funny and fair enough.

    Are you solo and this is a pillar base or what? Who is your ally? You could find another ally, one that is enemy of your enemy, then become ally (temporary if you want) and go attack them. The game is going to be wiped anyway, so i wouldnt stress.


  6. Finding a unique shipwreck on the shore that u can fix up with a few planks or whatever, or a ship just bobbing in the water would be fun. It's just too bad that the devs havent been able to do this type of thing. Too busy just messing around with the balance for the hell of it, and adding things that nobody really wanted, or would think is a good decision. Imagine if this game was a single player RPG, and there was a story (ark has a story believe it or not) that made enough sense to help you to understand the complex game mechanics, such as trade and being a pirate by yourself and fighting all the megas and people with 4k hours while still having fun.

     

    Unique loot would be the best..... a unique ship just sitting there on the beach???

    A unique fkn sword even. People have been saying this for a while, the sword or ship doesnt even need to be better, it can just have some balanced stats, or just be a vanilla thing with unique cosmetics.

    Anyway, there hasn't even been events for this game yet, where is my zombie wyvern....
