Anybody see any Legion of the Damned yet?

Was watching CohhCarnage's stream before release and they ran into a big pack of Damned Ships, a bunch of floating crates, and some treasure bottles.  I haven't seen any of these and I've been rafting around for almost 24 hours.  Am I just exceptionally unlucky?

Not sure if there triggered by the ship you have?? Couldn't take them on In a raft?  

 

I have gone through 4 tiles haven't seen any npc ships

i have seen some they were level 90

Maybe you need a bigger fast boat for more efficient treasure hunting!
