Some beginner questions

Hi!

Played the first few hours (Lvl 8) and have some basic questions:

- Where should I set up my first base? Left Freeport and sailed to the next island. But this is Lawless region and I can't claim land. Do I need to claim land for base building?

- How do I log lout correctly? Can't find the sleep option.

- How do I post in global chat? Just hitting enter seems to be the local chat.

- How do I use the fishing pole?

- Cold biomes or highground. Unless you are part of a big tribe to defend your base, it will a waste of time since the chinese will destroy it sooner or later.

- After you log out you get the sleep buff. Try to logout in a hidden area to avoid being killed.

- You need a chair and sap as bait.

No idea about base building haven't gotten far enough myself (to laggy).

You just log out and your character will lay down and go to sleep on the spot they are standing on.

Global chat, check key bindings, there be a key listed for it or to change chat channels unless global chat turned off on your server.

Again cant help not got a fish rod yet.
