No idea about base building haven't gotten far enough myself (to laggy). You just log out and your character will lay down and go to sleep on the spot they are standing on. Global chat, check key bindings, there be a key listed for it or to change chat channels unless global chat turned off on your server. Again cant help not got a fish rod yet.

The problem is it a preview slider but don't say it a preview slider. Really it should be moved else where and say it a preview of what you look like later when hair grows.

Nah just wipe all the AFK level 1's characters from the servers. It these sleeping bodies that are cause problem at the start and some are people who quit the game for good. Plus if they do come back its only a few seconds to recreate the character.
