Kirk 1 Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) We're finishing up our Brig and outfitting it with large cannons and i was taking a break in the watch tower with my spyglass. anyone seen this effect before and ventured near it? any clue what it might be? Edit: tried looking at it through the sextant as well now and it doesn't show up so its specific to the spyglass Edited January 1, 2019 by Captain James T. Terotox 1 Posted January 2, 2019 (edited) You are sure there is no island over there? i always recognize this „blurry area“ around islands if you are far away. Go on a sail trip and watch an island with your spyglass from a higher distance. I never thought much about it but think this blurry bubble disappears after you are in render distance for details.
