Me and I assume many, many others lose hours, some even days of playing (rephrase that: mindlessly grinding freaking starter materials), only to log back in (after some sleep, because humans do need that) and see all gone to the shitter. people can somehow claim your stuff while you are gone. rafts, ressources, everything. I dont mind grind. I somehow enjoy it to a degree. but this game is like walking uphill on an escalator on turbo speed. and moving in the opposite direction. Great that youtrpatchnotes say something about taming, ghost ships and whatnot. Most of the players I encounter have problems leaving the starter islands for good. and thats because you make it as hard as freakin possible to even be able to get something else than a starting raft.
