Didn't they claim to have like 300 bans or something because of all these exploits and hacks recently? That's a pretty small list out

Max level is 201, better get grinding 

You can solo it by running through the cave and spamming e when you get near the end.

Is it fun? God no.

It takes about 35 cannon balls to break a single stone wall if they all hit the same spot. If you build two rooms, with a bed in each and someone sleeps in each room it takes 70 cannon balls. If you surround your base with a secondary wall it takes 140 cannon balls to break into both rooms. Every addition room with additional outer walls increases this by a bigger and bigger margin until it's just not worth the effort to break into every single room in your base and kill you all.

If you're playing solo in a single room with a single bed, then you don't have the force required to own land, go join a company.

For the record, "Official; Having the approval or authorization of an authority". I don't see anywhere in any definition of the word official that states that the thing must be owned by the company in question, and I'm fairly sure Jat has the approval of the company to post news updates on twitter and that twitter has the approval to host the news updates on their server. Strangely enough, according to this definition, his twitter account is an official channel.

You did indeed pay for the game, and you received a receipt in your email just like you would have if you'd gotten that bank charge in your example. For notices that do not take effect against you specifically and affect their service, they use their OFFICIAL twitter account, thus you are being notified via OFFICIAL channels. Now you know it exists, feel free to add it to your bookmarks in case you want to check for future notices.

You're example isn't comparable because something like a bank charge would need to be addressed to you personally, so I'd expect an email. For a general service announcement I'd check their website, be advised to check chirpchirp, bookmark the chirpchirp page so I can see any future announcements and get on with my day.

There is zero reason, none, zip, nada, as to why you can't simply bookmark the atlas twitter page and get on with your life.

Look at this video that I made fighting off 3 SOTD in a row without taking ANY damage. I have my sails at 50% and turn then against the wind to not be faster than any SOTD out there (I slow down on purpose to keep them within range) while dragging them behind me. SOTD are freaking slow, and they rotate slow and the aggro range is super small even for brigs and stuff. I go afk while driving from 1 island to the other and even if you aggro them, about 10 sec. later you lose them again. They are 0 challenge if you have a schooner or above. Even with a sloop and a medium sail you should be absolutely fine to go. I even saw rafts outrun SOTD on the way to powerstone islands.

I did a high quality treasure map a few days ago (from J12 to C5) and went from 50 to 53, so if you want exp you need to sail further than the next zone over

Your refusal to use the services provided is your own issue. Maybe you should stop blocking them based on blanket statements of ignorance and intolerance and realise the whole world isn't against you nor are people that disagree with you automatically trolls.

Are you going to start blocking forums too simply because people post their opinions and views on those too?

Not sure what everyone is moaning about to be honest, I struggle to find ghost ships even when I want them for NPCs and those I do spot refuse to even aggro me until I run up and shoot them in the face.

My advice is learn to sail and use your eyes, they've been nerfed into the ground and are pretty boring as they are now. 

Wait a minute, are you trying to tell me that game populations tend to shrink over time? I AM SHOCKED AND AMAZED!
