  1. Tried using a vpn to connect and still the same issue...makes me think it is battleye
  2. I have enjoyed playing Atlas for about 600 hrs, but now the game is starting to perform poorly for me. I am having some issues starting about a couple weeks ago. 50% of the time, when I log into the game, it will take 3mins and then give me a fatal error crash message. The other half of the time it will load in fine running as smoothly as the previous 600hrs. If the game loads in fine, it will run fine until I try to sail into a new tile. When I sail into a new tile 1 of 3 things happen. 1-It transfers smoothly and I keep sailing happily 2- it takes a while to zone into the new tile and I will have 250+ ping and rubberband severely 3- I will get a fatal crash message. If I continue sailing after scenario 1 or 2 happen, the next time I transfer tiles, the same 3 things can happen...including going from rubberbanding at 250+ping to smooth sailing upon entering the new tile. I am plugged into my wall directly and I have tested my connection during the times of poor performance. The connection is always fine. I reinstalled the game, I updated graphics drivers, and I have no idea what else to do. I've had no issues other than the ones everybody else has experienced until now. It makes me want to quit the game :(, and I love playing it. I can also log into unofficial servers and the performance is fine there with identical settings. I don't know if it is something with battleye or just the official servers that is causing connection interruptions. Fatal error!
