    No I like them..

Especially for reloading a gun..  you can ignore and reload in the default time.. or do the mini game and reload a bit faster..

    Would have been a good idea o have it fire fire arrows as well.. fuck it up and you set yourself on fire ;

looks like troll inc.  irony off

  2. I dont know about you guys, but i was watching the devs stream, the moment when Jat and this other dev guy, were talking about adding a mini game to fire arrows, made me very angry and agressive. I ask myself if they really know, how we feel about this annoying game mechanic!

  3. Understand your point, but cruisin around all the time with a battle ship is not relaxing sailing like with a transport ship or a ship which is build to be fancy. There should always be a way to sail in peace and relaxing.  Imagine the difficulty of sailing with a transport galleon 70% loaded, without ugly roofs which sorrounding it. Its ok to have a challenge ,if you search for it with your ship, but for those things,  there's whales and higher SOTDs in the game. Casual player without special blueprints and ships or skills, should be able to sail without losing theire stuff.

I'm surprised I'm the first one posting about this issue. The Galleon turn-rate is HORRIBLE! The turn circle is FAR too large, even when sails are almost closed. I'm not saying turning should be as fast as a Brig, but Devs - PLEASE make the Galleon at LEAST formidable against the onslaught of ghost ships that always follow your stern. Currently, I have to sail straight for about 2 minutes at full sail before turning for 5 minutes at 1/4 mass to get another clean shot on a SotD since they ride your tail because the Galleon CAN'T TURN. NO WONDER people rage quit after getting a Galleon! Any lvl 2 ghost ship can take out a Galleon if the captain simply tries to turn to get a shot.

For the amount of effort and TLC that goes into making a Galleon, the Galleon is the MOST vulnerable ship in PvE without the ridiculous-looking stacking of cannons off the Stern. The port and starboard sides typically get 1 shot before the ship HAS to speed away in order to turn. The rest of the shots normally would come from that awful, unintended setup of stacked guns on the stern of the Galleon.

For those that like to troll stuff like this, I'm totally aware of the intended OFFENSIVE nature of the ship, rather than defensive. I'm simply making a point you can't even BE offensive in so many cases because you can't TURN to face a ghost ship that suddenly turns on a dime.

OH, and while your at it: FIX THE HANDLING SAILS so that they give you a boost to turn rates. Currently, they do not - they just catch the wind slightly faster when you're going against the wind - which you just plain shouldn't want to do on purpose with a Galleon (but most people do in order to …  you guessed it... turn.)

    agree push

  5. We all already complained about the insane amount of ships of the damned and that they are to strong to defeat. Making them smaller and less powerful is a good step into the right direction, putting them in squads is making 5 steps back. You should be always able with a transport galleon to out sail them. At the moment its sometimes not possible with the amount of SOTDS because they sail to close to each other. If we have SOTD squads of 2-4 ships, the amount of space they need to sail and the radius will be insane and you cant out sail them because they always change theire direction. One SOTD its not easy to know where its gonna drive next but with a couple SOTDs at the same time its nearly impossible to out sail them.

So why can't pve have the settlement system and player shops like the pvp server just remove the raid vulnerabilitie time.

    Settlement system

-Actually we can be happy to not have this bad concept of settlement on pve. The claiming system concept they have in pvp wont stay. This is so stupid and will cause to much trouble, players will never accept this. Allowing a Landlord demolish structures from other companies to all times.... its so stupid and make companys to not live on a landlord islands.... the struggle for all these items is to big and the risk to high to lose everything to a griefer /greedy landlord. Even if they would remove the ability for a landlord to demolish your structue, the landlords would be mostly big companys and i dont want to live for theire wealth and after theire rules.... the game is having more small companys and solo players especially in pve than everything else and it should be have a system which suppports the smaller companys and solo players, because big companys with 250 members dont need that much support.

let me make advertisement instead for the claimingflags and give a solution how we could use them.

    Solutions:

-Keep claimflags in pve limit them to  5-20(depends on amount of company member) per grid and 20 in total per company. Enemy structures. ships, animals or npcs, dont block claiming of an area. All enemy structures and animals on your claim are able to beeing demolished or taken over after 1 hour. Enemy claims cant beeing placed in a short distance to your claim, except you are in an alliance, than your claims can be next to each other.

-keep building everywhere with auto decay and demolish after  5hours, if not on your claim(dont forget we will have to build everywhere to kill animals and monsters)

    -removing of water claims

-make ships not gettin damaged on water if they are in a distance to an island.

-unlimited amount of alliances in PVE

-give ships the ability to drive through other ships in pve.

    Player shops

    - As i know they are planned for beeing added in freeports in pve, which is good because, its more centralized. A neutral zone where i can park my ship not gettin blocked by huge, ports and ships and can get some npcs and customizations too.

  7. I ve posted this already but i want to share this with you guys what i ve worked out for our problems which we have in pve, because the concept the devs worked feels not playable and unfair.

So I've identified some problems with the upcoming changes on the PvE side of things and I wanted to list them here simply and with clarity:

    1. Because there are no claims, people can pillar off someone's base very easily, pillar off their entrances and pathways in and out as long as there's a patch of ground within a few meters away from their foundations.  And there's nothing they can do about it.

    2. Because there are no claims, people can place pillars and ceilings around someone's boat in their own port, forever blocking their boat in and preventing them from using it.  And there's nothing they can do about it.

    3. This already happens in Lawless zones (it happened to me today), and there's nothing that can be done to solve the problem.

    4. People can put large tames in front of other companies' gates and doorways, blocking them in from using it.  They can use tames to block parts of their base as well... forever.  And there's nothing they can do about it.

    5. With the new system, they can just slap down an auto-repair structure next to their griefing pillars, and keep it repaired... indefinitely for as long as they choose.  And there's nothing anyone can do about it.

So, this is a non-trivial problem with the PvE mode of the game, and has greater weight given that there are no active Admins managing each server for things like this.

I'm not going to post a bunch of problems without proposing a solution for consideration and nitpicking.

    My proposed solution:

    1. Allow claims on all islands including the current lawless

    2. Make the claim radius around 50% to 75% smaller than the size it is currently

    3. Limit claims to 1 flag per island per player

    4. Allow ships to temporarily pass through other companies' structures and ships, as an explicit emergency toggle for 2 minutes on the ship's multi-use menu

    5. Allow a company to eject other companies' tames from their claim that have been there for over a hour (or whatever arbitrary time is reasonable for balance reasons)

That's my proposal, feel free to poke holes in it, I'm only one perspective.

First i have to say i agree with you, except the number of claimflags. 1 Claimflag is not enough , but a hardcap would be the right way.

CURRENT PVE AUTO-DEMOLISH/REPAIR CONCEPT(FAIL)   / CURRENT CLAIMFLAG CONCEPT(FAIL)                                                                                        I dont know why the devs took this solution instead of other more pve friendly ones, makes us feel devs dont play pve. Punish pve players for griefers and forcing us to gather resources over and over againe, to prevent our bases from decaying, cant be the answer... Maybe this idea came from the same person, which had the briliant idea of making stone cost organic paste. Same frustrating like Jat, who was making jokes about adding a minigame to fire arrows...(this is not funny and most people hates those mini games).

  10. I can understand your point, i saw how much companys sturggled for theire achievements. All the fleets of Galleons and Brigs. some of them made out of mystic blueprints. The pain to get the powerstones... but i hope one day , you change your mind and come back. I dont think, we will have to face another wipe in the future.

  11. Dear Captain's, i will give Atlas on Official server NA a new chance with the upcoming patch, our company lost all our stuff due to several claimflag system changes. I dont know if the current idea of removing all claimflags is the way to go and the concernings about resource blocking are right, but i guess if players on an island work together, there will be a way to avoid these problems. If someone is ready to team up and give it a try too20190209183808_1.jpg?width=1587&height=8 dm me, would like to hear thoughts from people returning too.
