  1. I don't speak your language adequately well to participate here , but i can understand it clearly , so i would like to be brief :

     

    Well i'm sorry guys , but in my opinion there are some posts here (not all !) wich has   discredited  other users/devs (ass,etc.) and also pure speculation  without clear factual analysis or most likely without inside knowledge of the grapeshot company.

    I also get annoyed by some implementations of this brilliant game idea.This E A is a roller coaster, ok , but it should be fair.

    Maybe the trolls have reached their destination and my post is useless.

     

     


  2. Thanks Devs ! I checked it about 22.00 h continental european time.

    The reported Bugs don't occur anymore on my single player savegame(same grid) without patch ?

    Oh sorry patch 410.4 fixed it. I don't get any download information from Steam.

    I saw several videos where that 3rd NPC had a,broom sweeping animation,  but mine doesn't do that, he chants to some unknown deity. Lol

    I thought that if you had enough resources in the resources box, that the crew would automatically repair as long as your anchored. 

     - Your NPC is probably on wandering.Stay in front of him,hold E until the option wheel occurs and then click "Disable Wandering".

     - But the crew only repairs the planks and gunports.If your ship resourcebox is filled with enough fibers,thatch,wood,hide and metal then choose the repair hammer to your hotbar and you can repair the sails,deck  and other structures by yourself without having resources in your inventory. Just stand in front of the structure with repairhammer selected and the game shows you the repair text.

I don't think levels come into it, I was high level and was still only able to buy 10 which is why I thought it was per day.

    Thanks.This all is a bit confusing, because i currently have 15 NPC (i'm level49).When i was at the freeport i had 2NPC on the sails and 4 were at the base in another grid.

    You're right ,i could buy 10, after this i leveled them all up and i could buy one more. Went back to base  and then,of the 4NPC left at base, there were only 3 left. One dissapeared/was removed!?

    So i have a total count 15 NPC at level 49.If you're lev1 and can only get 10 - But if you want to man just a schooner ,fully capable of sea fight,you need at least 12 - 10 on the cannons and 2on the sails.  


  5. I still enjoying this first class survival game ,even after i had to start again five times on dedicated servers and single player.

    I also postet some criticism, but my only intention was to help somehow advance this game.

    Atlas has such a deep atmospere to dive into. The graphic of the nature environment and the sea is fantastic ,especially on a high end pc and monitor.

    Ships,building,sailing,sea/landfights,exploring,crafting,skilling even keep vitamin equi. is so much fun.There's always something new to discover,just yesterday i found a nice tundra isle with the largest silver spot i've seen so far. And yes it's real hard for me to convince the youtube and player community here in germany to play more atlas.I'm the last one from 17 on our 2nd private server so i gave it up and play single now.Most of them playing ARK again, but some seem to come back.

    Much has already been discussed about improvements, etc. and i can only wish good luck to all those involved.

     


  6. - Fictional  NPC Royal Naval Forces (the real enemy of the pirate)- with the associated merchant marine at sea and on land.(with WPE we're advancing)

    - More types of ships and realistic front-triangle sails - which ensure that speed can be generated with little wind,from negative wind angels.

    -A sophisticated trading system for all game modes.

    -Prevent wild animals from destroying trees(especially elephants)

    Almost all of my other points have already been mentioned / except for this one :

    To find a way to reclaim the lost players and win new ones - though this is clear anyway.(of course,that's easy to say when you're not in charge)

    My and other suggestions do not necessarily have to be considered,as it has already have been done too quickly with some questionable.

    With all due respect,dear devs,you did a great job so far,but unfortunately one could almost get the impression that the game is just played by you too little.

    Just my little personal view.               ( this isn't my native language)

    They didn't analyst Ark's success.  Which is heavily reliant on single player and unofficial servers.  And in creating the Atlas world map as they have, it means you won't get the same game play experience as you do on the official servers.  With Ark, every map is the same, official or unofficial.

  8. Wild Pirates Encampments seems to be a great idea,

    for our community who are playing on dedicated servers and single player.I already opened a small thread about implementing NPC Royal Naval Forces,so it's fine for me.

    But hopefully these encampments will not be on every island per grid, this would be too much  and  hinders the feeling of exploring natural islands.

    Or did i not understand that correctly ?

  9. Thank you very much for  adding single player , devs !

    The patch flows in 6 hours ago here in europe and our community is just testing it.

    It's really great to have this amazing huge map finally,well done!Discovery system works,not like on our private servers after wipe.

    The gameplay is smooth and the performance is stabil and so far no game crashes.

    Not all settings work in the game: Day tme speed /cycle and bears can't farm fibers.

    Please keep up your precious work for this first class survival game and please listen to the multiplayers community critics.

    The map and landscape desingn is brilliant and beautiful,but maybe more realism instead of fantasy and more sea/ships/pirates simulation.

    Maybe royal naval forces of the 17th.century on land and sea-huge spanish galleons with tons of gold to raid.

  10. Well thank you very much for implementing a single player mode.

    It was very expensive for us to run private servers with 3x3/ 4x4 grid maps(to get nearly full game content)

    We here in germany (i assume europe wide)have a notable single player fan community for ARK/ATLAS. This will bring more players and money to this first class survival game.

    Dear Developers,please continue your precious work for this game , as you've done so far.

  11. (I would like to begin by saying i'm european/german and my grammar is not perfect)

    How about the implementation of NPC Royal Naval Forces (ships/soldiers/fortresses) for instance spanish,british,french,etc. in the game ?

    • Royal Naval Fleets were highly trained to hunt and destroy pirateships. Could be a more realistic challenge for players compared to the damned ships.
    • They secured their trading routes with heavy warships and had fortresses on key positions wich could be raided.(PVE and PVP)
    • Fortresses are already implemented(discovery area) and could be manned by NPC Naval Forces. Players then have to conduct a tactical sea and land fight in order to get to the gold/treasure inside the fortress.
    • As you all know the spaniards melted tons of gold in the new world in order to transfer it to Europe with the biggest armored galleons - irresistible for buccaneers.
    • A small hint for me on this topic - The ferryman at the freeport wearing a british royal navy officers uniform(commander or captain)of the late 18th century.One can buy this as a skin.

    I'm playing on my PVE server160slots with our community,therefore it's not so easy to estimate what PVP fans prefer in the case and their opinion is essential because the focus is on PVP.

    This game has really great potential , it's a mix of fantasy and reality aspects,so it's difficult to predict what the developers will focus on in the future.

    In conclusion , it is the affair of the developers anyway and i wish them many good creative hours (they proved it with ark)

  12. What happens to your tamed creatures if you respec your character skill points? I have tamed lots of animals and  skilled the complete Beastmastery skill tree and i would not dare to respec.What happens to the tamed and leveled creatures when respec?

Hi there Sailors.What about implementing NPC Royal Fleets/Ships/Soldiers for example British  Style in the game.Will be much more realistic then Damned Ships.Royal Navy Fleets were strong and highly trained to hunt and destroy Pirateships in the past,which could be another challange for players.They secured their trading routes and had fortresses on islands-which could be raided.The Spaniards were also good,because they melted tons of gold from the new world to transfer it to Europe with the biggest armored Galleons.
