  1. Ok i understand why the timers are there then why not allow more than 1 2 handed weapons on a hotbar at a time but keep the timers ?  Then macro wouldnt be helpful due to the timer. I just find it rather boring and troublesome in a outnumbered fight the way its setup.

  2. Uh im not talking about macros etc just the simple solution of the devs getting rid of the timer for placing a weapons / tool etc into the hotbar to use. Or allowing more than 1 2 handed weapons into the hotbar at a time. I dont want macros or any other 3rd party program.

You bought PvP game and you are complaining about what? Solution for offline raiding? Can you please tell me where is pvp in offline raiding?

Protection from offline raiding means much more online action = much more PvP.

If you just want to destroy someone while he is offline then sorry, you are just a griefer. It has nothing to do with PvP.

Just because someone raids someone offline doesn't make them a griefer. There may be other reasons as to why the person offlined someone.

I play PvE because i cant be arsed to start over daily.

But its exactly because people have no balls to fight you when your online so they wait until you need to go out and then come and steal your shit.

Ok good for you but not everyone does what you say. I play solo live on lawless and will fight you online outnumbered IDC. Not everyone that loves to PVP offline raids people.

Yet another reason to play PvE. Assholes like you are ruining the fun for everyone else that just wants some casual PvP but instead gets forced to play 24/7 just to protect what little they have.

Now i dont agree with the 9 hour timer since its probably going to be shit, but having PvPvE servers (where you can only fight at sea and not raid land) would be a better approach.

Assholes like me lol ? Why because I like to PVP in a PVP game hmm. And the only fighting on sea idea is lame and would be a worse approach to benefit the larger companies even more. The casual PVP you seek is on the unofficial servers try there.

You realise that the reason you are paying tax to the bigger company is for them to have a reason not to wipe you out right?

And why would you want offline raiding its by far the worst thing that can happen to anyone and is not fun in any way shape or form.

You are paying the tax to live there. There is nothing saying they wont or will wipe you or even protect you. And having raid timers in a 24/7 pvp game is retarded.

More stuff to grind for? No, there doesn't need to be anymore grind added to the game. All of my friends quit, (and take note, they play Ark, Rust, and so on) because of the already insane sailing times. To get to sugarcane, a one way trip was 5 hours, for example. Then, we had to make the trip back. I agree that there should be better defenses, as well. Though, I never said that was the only reason it was tanking, as stated, the insane sailing times are perty crazy, but can be remedied, hopefully, once player shops come into play. The insanely toxic mega tribes, and absolute unwillingness of megas to work with smaller tribes, for no reason, at all, is another reason the game is tanking. Not being able to build, right now, because of all the spam, is another. Shall I go on? I know why the game is in the state it's in, but it's only two months out the door. Give it some time. Can't wait for this wipe, and these new implementations may be freaking awesome, or be totally bad, but until we see it in action, we won't know. Have faith, could be a blessing!

The new system is not going to chance how mega companies treat the small companies. I still believe you are going to run into the same issue as right now megas are going to push the smaller companies off the claimable islands or not allow them to build up. As for the sailing yes i find it to be extremely boring and needs some kind of tweak. I also am for the wipe as for some of the changes to PVP im not liking the sounds of it but will give it a go and see.

RE: Labatts. Funny, I don't recall buying two copies of an advertised PVE game.  Because I wouldn't have. EA or not, you are sold on an advertised product, and as an ARK EA, the reason we keep playing through the frustrating glitches and bugs is not because it's enjoyable, but because the game is expected to be completed as advertised.

You clearly like the changes that will be implemented. I'm not here to change your mind, nor change the game. This is not what was sold, and if I could get those hours back in my life, trust me, I would. There is no claim for compensation for that, nor am I asking for it.

I to have also bought 2 copies of the game and do not like look of the new PVP system. But I am still willing to try it and not bitch about it before it even happens. Also to clarify my stance look up my other post and you can see im not for the new changes to adding offline raid protection.

Uhhhh, Offline raiding is why this game is tanking... Ark isn't dying because 95% of its playerbase are on servers that don't allow offline raiding/have ORP. I can't believe this, honestly.... people have been complaining about offline raiding for ages, asking for a change, and now when the devs are actually trying to implement a fix, everyone is crying about it?? What in the actual heck??? Think about it? What makes a pirate game a pirate game? Nuking peoples boats and bases with no defense? Or going head to head, in the open sea, crew vs crew? I'd take the latter any day. There is still room for stealth raids, it just requires coordination and some scouting and so on. Thanks WC, this wipe and these changes are bringing me back to the game!

Offline raiding isn't the only reason this game is tanking there are several issues. I for one do not like the sounds of the new pvp system being put forth. I believe this system will hurt the smaller companies more than ever. I also believe the devs are being lazy and using this for their game mechanic instead of coming up with better defenses people can use / grind for which would be way better for the game in the long run. Also from my experience most people that beg for offline raid protection usually leave the game or server anyways after being raided while online. Alot of people just cant stand losing stuff.

  10. I really don't care either way if they wipe the servers or not. But if they decide to do it hopefully it will be after they fix the issues with duping otherwise there is no point to wipe the server since its just going to keep happening. Let them get the claims issue worked out and a few more updates and then maybe it would be beneficial to wipe.

A cooldown on changing company name would prevent a lot of problems.

A check to prevent duplicate company names (if it doesn't already exist) would also be a great help.

I believe there is a cool down already. And if there is a name duplicate it will have a number at the end of the company that is coping the original. Company logs need to record more tho so it actually shows the players name that is destroying your stuff.

  12. I have several small bases in lawless area that haven't been raided and have been there since the 2nd week of launch. Yes it is extremely easy to wipe someone form lawless but at same time its not really that hard to do it on claimed land either with a bear / horse with cannon and a ship.I think in my opinion lawless islands would be even better if the companies would just ally up and form a pact to defend each others stuff. Would make for a better experience overall for those people that live there but then again that's just my opinion.

I haven't proposed any particular solutions so I don't have any agenda. Every post I make talking about it mentions the fact that these are early access issues for an early access game. I don't recommend duplicating EVE's mechanics, I've only used them as an example of systems that work that aren't flat-out ORP. I expect something new and different and I'm sure that will happen before a full release. 300% damage resistance on anchored ships is a step in the right direction to be sure.

I've been over this with you. You just ignore it and keep on keepin on.

What exactly am I ignoring here lol ??

Lmao this is ridiculous. It's the same jerkwads over and over just pouring over every thread trying to fight off ORP in any way, shape, or form. BULLET FORCE and Itsme and LABATTS and DOCHOLIDAY. Surprise surprise.... If you fools wants Ark mechanics, go play fucking Ark. I'm sick of beating the same dead horse. You guys have nothing to counter the arguments points, you simply just spew off the same nonsense I've heard in Ark for ages. "PVP bro, it's PVP! PVP or gtfo! Omfg you killed me im calling my russian megatribe broz! PVP qqqqqq"

Lmao it is ridiculous because I could say the same thing if you want EVE mechanics go play EVE. Also I never said I was against ORP in all forms. I am just against 100% immunity to damage when a company is offline.  I really like the new addition to the game where anchored ships have a 300% damage resistance which is what I have been mentioning as a form of ORP for a while now. The only one that sounds like they are "QQ" in here is you because you have not gotten your way.

  15. Idk maybe just me but I think this makes it so people will raid offline more often. It takes way more to raid now that people are not gonna wanna risk it with all the explosives on them they will wait for the company to log before they raid them so they don't lose all of the explosives they must bring with them now.  Before with things not being so bad I would just roll up to a base and hit the base while the company was online have some fun pvp and possibley get in with not having to carry insane amount of explosives.  But now with the explosives nerfed it takes so much that if they are online its not just worth it and just wait. This was my opinion would like to hear others on this.
