Title says it all. Right now, you can only paint the ribs before launch, not after.

I spent the last few days sailing around in the High Desert zones. Never more than 3 or 4 people online at once (total for the zone), yet all the land was claimed and you can't touch it for 20 days. It's very rare that you come across just one flag by one company, it's usually half a dozen or more flags. People say "but I need to go on vacation"....I say bullshirt! I am mostly a solo player and would have no problem finding someone to login for me every few days to save my claim if it were set to a much lower time frame. If claims are to stay in PVE then it really needs to be revamped. I don't have the answer to this problem, but allowing just a few people to claim entire islands/zones will just drive people from the game.

For me, this is one of the more urgent fixes needed in the game.

People play pve bevause there is none of that pvp crap. If you were to do that, then people would run around griefing people just to start a "war". No thank you.

I saw this same thing happening the other day. Luckily I was able to destroy the SoD as I was sailing by.

Yup I can also confirm, the higher grade shipyards are basically for pvp (higher durability) The skeletons built in them are no different whatsoever. The only way to craft a better ship is with better planks and decks.

Nope. 500 hours in and I have yet to find an axe blueprint. Just like you, we have multiples of everything else.

I have to complain about the same thing, although I have a tree that grows right in the middle of my house....I put a campfire next to it and now I always have wood for it.

Have the changes to the claiming system actually made a difference?

Yeah, fortitude needs some work.

That's why I stay out of pvp.  I'm not one for playing within a large company, so you get wrecked in a small group pvp.

You'll know when everyone else knows. Doesn't look good for this weekend though.

ALL online games start off with big numbers and then slide downhill after a month or two. It's just the way things go.

Keep the pvp away from pve...not interested.

Have the decay rate increase based on the number of pillars/foundations a company has. People would place less of them if they knew that everything they have could be destroyed if they don't login for one day.

NA PvE is up on C6.....looking at it right now.

What will the aging process consist of? I've heard rumors of a fountain of youth?
