Not sure if it has been suggested before, but players/companies should be restricted to a certain amount of flags WHICH they can 'upgrade' from NPCs overtime by paying gold.
Right now the situation is that a player/company has claimed the whole damn island where they won't build stuff in a million years, they claim it just for the sake of it being theirs.
But instead of that you could fit 2-3 companies on that island who still have room to expand, he who plays more gets more. Not that whole island claimed by people who quit. This goes for pvp and pve
