Up until around v8 the game was literally unplayable aside from "Menu Simulator" no matter how or where i tried to join it would take a few minutes before telling me the connection timed out. After v8 the connections became fantastic from what they were before where now my first attempt would spend a few minutes to get a timeout but the second attempt would put me into the game a lot faster. This was great but when v10 came out now not only does it put me to where i have to try and repeatedly connect many times to hopefully get in but now the game uses a lot more of my cpu and memory then before which in some cases completely freezes my entire computer and this stays frozen for at least 10 to at the most 20 minutes before it tells me connection timed out and then stays frozen for another couple minutes before im back to the main menu.
Now my current setup isnt really much its atm just an acer laptop with an intel core i5-6200 a Geforce GTX 950M and 8gb of RAM so normally id just leave it at maybe my machine just cant handle it but some things dont make much sense. First this laptop is perfectly able to handle Ark with 10-20 mods no problem. Also between v8 and just before v10 it handled atlas with no problem. Even now when i can actually get into the game the frame rate isnt too bad and i rarely ever see any rubberbanding. The Entire issue is solely between the main menu client side and the connections which so far have just increasingly been getting worse. Love the game and i do hope this can be fixed so i can get back to playing with my group of friends but right now this is becoming a huge struggle.
