I'm trying to use a paintbrush to paint on a Medium Speed Sail and it's not working. I can paint regions just fine, but when I try to freehand paint or load a template, nothing shows up in the preview window. It seems to be working for other people so I'm not sure what's up with that. Maybe it broke recently or maybe it's just Medium Speed Sail that has this problem. Tried to paint with White, and then with Snow White just in case it was that specific color that was broken. I have the sail already painted black but that shouldn't matter.
Edit: Apparently, it does matter. When painting onto a sail that hasn't had region paint applied, it works just fine, but if the region has been painted, your template paint/freehand paint won't show up. And once you have painted a region, there doesn't seem to be a way to remove that paint short of demolishing it and placing a new one, which is what I had to do.
I assume this isn't intended behavior and would therefore be considered a bug.
So for anyone else experiencing this issue on sails or otherwise, make sure you haven't applied region paint to the region you're trying to paint or it won't work.
