Sadly in all my experiences cultural differences is the only non-racist answer you will ever get.

Just for the record I was saying I thought 3 weeks was a bit much. IMHO 7 days was optimal but 2 weeks is meh but doable.

So yeah for NA servers 9 days and EU 2 months.

Sure but I think 7 days is more then enough time for a vacation, don't you?

3 weeks is a bit long for sure reduce to 7 days and scale down accordingly.

Shooting Crocodile with cannon, Crocodile laughs, kills you through hull of the ship. 

Junk loot, worthless crafting patterns etc.

Giant stone gates everywhere. 

Spending hours for days building a ship only to have it sunk due to a bug. (schooner flipped and exploded) 

Everything related to aging and FoY. 

Broken skills. (all the bow skills are broken for me) no plus damage etc. 

PVE = no war.

PVP = too much war

My pvp experience:

Build RS Sloop. travel across 13 zones looking for place to set up, looking for company etc. get blown up by brig with 14 large cannons. Spawn in freeport try again, rinse repeat 5x. 

I'm level 38 on PvP. In all that time only one group wanted to let me join their co. nobody had a place for me to build, every player I met tried to kill me or destroy my ship. Completely wiped out and started from scratch 5 times at least, a few times I managed to set up a shipyard and build a better boat but that didn't help at all really.   

My pve experiance: Me asking myself, whats the point of this?

I could go on and on but wont bother, just needed to vent.

You are pretty much right on the nose with most of this. A hybrid server would cure alot of these issues.

You rolled it back way to far this is like 2 hours.

They brought the server back up but it was not a simple rollback it was like 2 hours or so.

So if fully fed and payed you have an additional 7 days of defense. Lame.

NPC crew can still contest land claims like sleeping people did, just a heads up if this was intended or not.

This is the dumbest change ever, never was there a need to change this. Stupid is as stupid does.

I agree about the FoY and also the no retroactive Discovery points is atrocious.

This one is pretty bad, "Discovery Zones now count as 3 Discovery Points instead of 1. Players no longer need to discover all zones to reach max level. Not a retroactive change."
