Be sure to check DefaultGameUserSettings.ini after you do any app_updates. Mine was overwritten. I usually make a couple copies - one is a backup of the original and one is a backup with the mods. After an update, I just copy and paste from the modified file to make sure the setting are correct in DefaultGameUserSettings.ini

I had a few islands in one grid that wouldn't harvest. It would show the animation but not actually give any resources. I ended up removing the islands that didn't work in the server-grid-editor and replaced them with a different type of island. They seem to be working now. Don't know if it was the type of island used - or if just resetting the islands by switching them out fixed it.

Generally my fatal errors have come from either forgetting to start the redis-server or if my password for the redis-server saved in the server-grid-editor doesn't match the requirepass in the redis.conf. If you set your own password in the redis.conf file rather than using the default, it will get rewritten to the default when you do an steam app_update. It may not be that at all - but it worked for me. Hope you get it figured out.
