PVE-PC-Zoned from B5 to E8. It's been 12hrs and still cant login.

Please fix

PVE server. Cant get in at all. Im on PC

When they mentioned the words another  "mega update" it made me immediately tune into that word as AKA wipe.

It makes me not want to even bother playing.

I guess maybe I could browse Companies to join and finally stop rolling solo.

According to the new Captains Log, they are going to introduce more islands this summer with another mega update.

Soooooo is this gonna be another wipe?? Only curious how much effort I want to put into building until then.

I completely understand where he is coming from. I don't like authority myself. I want to be free. I want my own set of rules. I'm taxed in RL why do I want taxed in game? Tis why I live on Lawless.

Battle Eye crashes are excessive with some servers.

same. my character is stuck. I can't do anything at all. I thought it was from the latest patch since it came out while I was at work. This happened to you before the latest patch? When I have to choose join server it gives me a time out error first then connects me.

I like this idea. I would like to have some kills up on my wall for sure. Hell I would like to have a full size gorgon statue.

The original video advertisements for this game were very misleading weren't they.

pvp'ers do not play the game to play it, the play the game to kill, destroy, conquer others, they only follow game mechanics at the barest minimum level to achieve the ability to kill , hence the name players vs players. This has been true since the first day of gaming in where one player could kill another, and it will not stop , because human nature

play the game, get a reward or play the game, kill George, and it will always be dead George

now, if they need to kill the Kraken to get the super-duper sword of George killing then they will, but the primary focus has been, will be, kill George, just the way  PVP works

The only time the game mechanic is important is when it must be done to kill George, otherwise they are ignored

 

simply put, George must, will die... all other parts are just so much fluff in a designers dream

Im a soloist on PVE that may try breeding after the wipe but that will be a bit down the road. I plan on building my main base in the desert then a small location in a cooler climate for breeding...at some point. It will be completely new to me.

Lawless server.

I'm a pve'r in THIS game. I enjoy the aspects of exploring these different islands/servers and meeting people. I also like the challenge of having to travel to find animals in different locations on the map to tame and eventually will attempt breeding in various locations. I still want a penguin from the tundra area. 

Your map seems to take all my fun away. However I have always agreed with the Ghost Ship idea. Those should be rare and a collaboration of people coming together to kill imo with great loot auto divided out.

Lawless Servers were introduced I think day 1? Because we couldnt log into the freeport servers. They were full. They then opened up other servers for us to use so people could actually log in and play. However these did not contain a freeport. I don't remember them specifically saying their intention with lawless was what you mentioned but it could very well be so.

I had hoped they would change them back so I could lay claim to my area but they never did and now I'm ok with it.

They were proud to launch the game as a mixture of Ark and sailing the seas as pirates so I don't know how much they really want to break away from.

There are many comments on this thread about lawless islands. Whether it be minimizing thee amount of them or dissuading people from settling on them for example. What is so wrong with them? Don't players have the right to choose what is fun for them or what SCENERY is most beautiful in the game to them (I'm speaking of myself here! lol)? I kinda have that rebel vibe feeling from playing on one and I gotta tell ya, It feels pretty PIRATE-ISH imo. In my own warped mind that is.

First off, amazing job at the time spent on this. I'm still absorbing.

I just want to say one thing. Do you guys remember one of their main campaigns consisted of them bragging about how there were no instances. It was one fluid world to travel. Every server was linked together etc etc etc. I wonder if they have realized how difficult it has turned out to be.

I refuse to be at the mercy of another living on someones land like a peasant. I was going to move off my lawless land if they had come up with a great new flag system so more of us were able to find claimable land. However with the way it went I will stay on my lawless island even if that means logging in constantly to keep my property. I don't care if I have pneumonia I'm logging on....hit by a bus? Bring me a laptop, I'm logging in. I REFUSE TO BE AT THE MERCY OF ANOTHER THAT CAN WIPE ME OFF THE FACE OF THE ISLAND IF THEY HAD A BAD DAY AND ARE A TOOL WITH AN EGO TRIP.
