If you live in Tundra you already do this. That was why you live in Tundra, you want it a little more difficult, and that includes weekly trips for sap.

No one in Tundra wants it to be made easier to live there. Adding sap to Tundra trees would just mean an influx of the griefers we left the temperate zones to avoid.

If Grapeshot is deadset on killing their game with this sap for stone patch, then at least switch paste in fur armor to another rare mat (I don't know, maybe salt?). Then at least Tundra players can ride out the decline of the game until it's time to move on.

Didn't go into tundra for difficulty, went to tundra bcs knew there will be less ppl so much less lag and and higher chance to get own claims, so basicaly went there bcs of games garbage performance and claim spam, not bcs like wasting half of levels for fortitude and spending half day to get some sap from a 255 ping area few grids away or 50k fiber from 100+ ping with lions, snakes and crocodiles all over.

That's however unintuitive, by default it should be sorted by recent activity, otherwise why we don't have this mess in general discussions section? Please consider changing it back, suggestions are the same, many won't change their sorting settings and so many suggestions get thrown into the void in favor of most popular 1-2 pages.

Its irrelevant whether its PvE'rs or PvP'rs that are asking for changes. They all account for a better game and all players are entitles to comment upon an aspect within the game.

OP - stop being so childish in creating a divide amongst the community. We all want fixes, enhancements and even though I play PvP Official, I like a lot of the ideas that PvE'rs put forward.

Just stop with this nonsense and looks at peoples ideas without a biased view.

Just report them, already got 2 of his posts deleted. They only come back to bash pve players for everything this game have wrong (which is alot) so he got alot of imaginary ammunition.

  4. Inteligence currently sucks. Few days ago respeced from 63 extra hp and reduced fortitude from 60 to 50 to put into inteligence. Tammed a crow for over 30% inteligence and went swimming with dolphins for 50%. With almost 300% inteligence the laughable bonuses were ranging from 0,4% on grappling hook (did no difference, seems inteligence doesn't affect durability from blueprints) to 7,1% on our journeyman fur chest armor. Armor on those increased maybe by like 1-2 points per piece of fine/journeyman/masterwork armor. The bonuses they had were increased in extreme laughable values, let's say something gives 0,3 health... or no, let's be generous and it gives 2 health, with so much inteligence gonna get like 2,1 insteed of 2...unimaginable, meta-breaking values! Inteligence also doesn't increase all damage, only the b lueprint bonus dmg, so if something says 120% dmg, it won't multiply that 120% but only that 20%... which with let's say 5% crafter bonus gonna equal to 1% more dmg, so much worth lossing 63 hp. Yes, know that upgrades are also boosted, but upgrades give very tiny amounts so that 5% doesn't boost them enough.

What want to see is inteligence actualy having any impact, dealing 1 more dmg or lossing 1 less health per hit is realy not worth it to not invest into... well, having double health than basic, with 200% inteligence could imagine having atleast 30-50% better gear but insteed we are just a squish that is 1% more tanky insteed of 2x more if just invested into health insteed.

Also would like the crafter bonus to not be randomized, blueprints already need alot of different kinds of materials, upgrades too. And would like it to affect blueprint durability, otherwise it doesn't matter to blueprints that just give more dura... like grappling hook for example, or what about planks, inteligent player should give more hp to planks... bu they are better going into weight or hp.

  5. Yeah, got bored too. Defeated many SoDs, farmed almost 20k gold, got green, blue and purple gear, made a full stone house and port for our schooner and sloop, got some animals, realized inteligence sucks... even tho was warned by forums that inteligence sucks (63 hp was surely much better than that + 0,1% more of armor or whatever lol). Our only future is some slight improvements like slightly better planks or slightly better gear and tons of farming for that... but well, in pve it doesn't matter much.

  6. Also about players droping, about animals overspawning (they atleast fixed wolves, thank gods), about alphas, about animals spawning inside buildings.

Not being against their thread spam, as longas those are not pools, spam as many, maybe they gonna move their ass in the direction we want them to insteed of creating an imaginary world they don't even play and except everyone else to accept it like if we all are some AIs to them.

  7. No, Draco!, just woke up an a sad story..., wish could somehow help or take to own land. Also don't liste to that... scorpionshawn, they just seem consumed by hate of being unable to do anything in the game and now bash everyone else to make them feel the same. *pat Draco*, thou art fine, not whiny etc, we would personaly bombard devs with requests if it happened to us so thou art already calmer than us.

Our crew on the Galleon is equiped with Cloth and some of them have Hide Amor with officer Style.

We have equiped ALL NPC on this ship a Sword! Did not try if they will fight with it, but it is equiped in Hands.

Put a Sword in the inventory and mouse over press "E"

Yeah, got own 13 AIs full hide armors so storms and SoD cannons balls are less scary to them. But realy would love them to be able to fight and have more commands. The fighting aspect would not matter in pve much propably, but in pvp surely ppl wouldst love their ais to be also capable boarding parties or ship defenders.

As for swords.. will check that tomorrow if they actualy fight with it.

  9. @Jatheish

Will AI crew ever be able to use meele or ranged weapons?, would realy like them to slash things with sword insteed of fisting anything they see, blow enemies faces off with blunderbuss or snipe stuff with flintlocks/carbines. It just kinda sucks that they only can wear armor to make them slightly more tanky but they are otherwise only cannon/sail operators and nothing else, even if given plate armors they propably would lose to 1 fully equiped player with real weapons insteed of fists.

Also it would be nice to have them more behavior options, right now, they only chase stuff across the ocean or stand still. It would be nice to have them an option to stand ground but still able to fight, for example so we could put them on left/right side of deck to shoot or on the nest so they can snipe. Or have them they can walk arround but only on the ship, not jump out into the full of sharks and manta rays waters and especialy, stop chasing birds and whatever.

To not make them an aimbot gods, give them a reaction delay when using ranged weapons and make them not aim for head but for center mass.

Me and a buddy went looking for sotd last night. We sailed through 2 whole maps and didn’t see any. So I would say no.

Having a literal wall of up to like 10 on each grid side or more, sank one today but they are so many they sometimes come in pairs or trios. Also whales suddenly started to spawn arround, had no whales for a week and after v15, already met 3 whales in past 3-4 days.

See I don’t get this.. I’ve been playing video game since late 90’s and yet to even encounter a Chinese player.

Yes I understand “just because I don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not happening” but seems to me, blaming an entire nation over something as stupid as cheating is a bit stupid.

From what I can see, British, Chinese, Japanese, german, Russian, polish, french, Irish, Scottish... all the other ish, man, ench, ese’s countries out there have cheaters in them.

Please for the love of shit... stop labelling a single country as the culprits.

Don't dare defending them. In any game that played with private servers, there are region locks, ping locks and massive amounts of admins to get rid of cheaters which suprise, most of them come from asia, china, tai and whatever is there but mostly those 2 just keep talking their fast paced language on micro or spamming houses as they wallhack arround. What Dorf said is true, their culture is about hating anyone who is not from china, they even hate their own ppl if they educate self and start thinking differently or talk in english since aparently english = american scum. Think that's bad their goverment tries to limit them etc?, maybe in some human rights, but they should be walled off as they would gladly punch thy face off for being not chineese and destroy any fun possible in games.

Yes it needs to evolve. People think the current aging system will stay forever, this one is just a test. Instead of people saying it should be removed - why not think about solutions that will make it into something good.

Personaly don't want aging not bcs it sucks now, don't want aging bcs don't want it at all, no matter how evolved it gonna be later. There are ppl that just hate this mechanic just for it existing, without extra reasons such as current bs.

People load faster if they have spec'd into it.  I have never missed a shot with a cannon.  I don't like the large cannons, however, because they seem gimped on purpose.  They are really only good for broadsides IMHO.  Close in Broadsides.  You can't aim them right or left, so I actually think you are better off having small cannons.  I only use the large cannons when it makes sense.  Close up when they are trying to board you, or other similar situations.  When the ships are somewhat distant to each other, and tacking around, the large cannon is pretty much useless.

I would also rather have real crew members to deal with those who attempt a boarding.  And, they can do more effective repairs, IMHO.

Yes, ppl load and aim better when speced, but no one uses them. There is also no boarders, there are either offline ship sinking or planting explosive barrels, there's no boarding decks with guns, swords etc, just a barrel.

Casuals don't want to be slaves, and that's what this game does to them, even more so than ARK did.  At least in ARK, the hardcore players could breed you up a great war mount, give you great armor, give you great weapons, etc... and you could join in the fight in a proper way.  Here, who do you think is going to man the cannons?  Casuals, or their Hardcore players?  You can bet your last dollar that the casuals aren't going to be doing the fun, cool stuff.  They will be asked to spec into ship repair.  Asked to spec into weight, not melee, so they can carry more stuff when harvesting, etc...

Not even hardcore players will man the cannons, AI does everything other than controlling wheel, everyone that is not a captain is either friends of the captain or slaves. While watching streams never seen a ship that is actualy 100% manned by players, everything is just perfect reaction AIS shooting and perfect sail rotation.
