  1. Been unable to launch the game since BE was introduced, it works fine if i launch using the normal atlasgame.exe or through steam with no BE enabled. Tried reinstalling the game, editing permissions on the entire foldertree where the steamlibrary is to allow Users full control + ownership to my useraccount. Tried uninstalling atlas, removed the gamefolder (big mistake since i lost my map exploration) and after that installed Atlas again, still same error. --------------------------- D:\Games\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\AtlasGame.exe --------------------------- Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- About to reinstall windows hoping that will solve the problem with being unable to launch the game, not having any high hopes atm though.
  2. @Jatheish - I skimmed through the replies and couldnt find anyone mentioning this: Are there any plans to reduce the insane time it takes for the babies to mature enough not to die by random heatstrokes/freezing to death? I tried to breed a cub (a baby bear) and while sitting at the beach in E11 it would go from being superhot to supercold needing campfires to survive. This would have been fine however the time it took to go to 10% took about 5 hours of constant care and feeding it. And then i spent about 1-2 hours before i just gave up, i had kinda hoped that once it went juvenile it would be able to handle itself or atleast be more resistant to the temperature. If nothing else allow me to forcefeed it to regain HP but no matter how much meat, fish or berries i shoved down its throat its HP kept dropping by 0.3 each tick - it regained minor health at some points while being forcefed but nothing major that could prevent its death. If we could cut down the timer it needs constant care and instead let it be on its merry own way after 2-4 hours then it would be viable. Granted i didnt spend the remaining 40 something odd hours with the cub i dont see any reason for it to be able to handle itself any time sooner. - Breeding. We want this to be more difficult than it was in ARK and for players to have to travel around the map to raise their species on ideal biomes. Whilst that does make it harder for smaller groups, arguably you could focus on breeding within your region and build up some beast mode tames to trade
  3. Looking to get my hands on a penguin, higher level is appreciated but not necessary. Currently camped out in F11 but can move to other grids to pick it up if needed. Got gold and blueprints to trade with (and ofc fiber). Either reply here or DM me on discord, ostjaevel#6947
  4. +1 Though id rather see a third gate added instead of them adding the option to waste half the materials on getting a halfsized gate, as mentioned a 2x2 would be great since it would allow me to build a barn to store my pets in without making it superlarge or looking stupid with the 4 high door.
  5. I agree, its bad enough that you have to take it through the baby phase which for my bear was about 5 hours. Lets add it all up, 4 hours to make the female pop, 5 hours to get to juvenile (10% maturation) 45 hours to progress through the rest of maturation with stuff you have to do every 8 hours. Its almost impossible to a) stick around for that long without needing to take a break of some kind - sleep/food/toilet/work/school/?? and b) the constant babysitting means you cant do anything else ingame since you always need to make sure that the baby isn't to hot or cold. Make the gestation longer (upwards of 12 hours would be fine) so you can trigger the breeding, go to work/school/sleep and come back later and get the baby and start force feeding it for 1-2 hours until it hits juvenile stage at which point it takes care of itself as long as its fed through the feeding trough. This part can take however long is deemed necessary as long as it doesn't need babysitting anymore, keep this part at the 50 hours so you cant just go crazy and breed an army.
