  1. I were able to join the game using the metod I mentioned above.. once connected I switched to a different region (server with another port).. waited a few seconds to make sure that the file LastServerConnectStringCache_76561197961483405.txt got updated with a new IP.. then exited to desktop, un-plugged my phone, and restarted the game.. and it worked just fine.. however.. after this I tried to spawn on a bed located in the region/server where I previously had connection issues, but the screen just turned black and ened up with a timeout.
  2. @MelonHub, are you sure you have disabled the WiFi connection on your phone?.. Basically you should make sure that you are utilizing the mobile network
  3. @digma76, quite sure it was the "fix" I posted above.. I still cant join without using my mobile internet.. and the post from Jateish were posted at 14:34.. which is quite a while ago.. and the issue remained after that time..
  4. @Merpz, glad to hear :).. hopefully the developers will soon find a more solid solution.. please add a comment to the thread as well.. just to make sure that more ppl pay attention to it.. and hopefully the devs will also pay attention to it later on..
  5. I did the following to be able to reconnect, but since I dont want to use all my mobile bandwidth, this is not a good solution..
  6. Hi, I have had problem with the "Host connection timeout"-issue multiple times, and I have never really bothered to look further for a solution.. However.. I managed to connect using the following method: Exit the Atlas game Exit steam (make sure its entirely closed.. and not running in the task bar..) Unplug your network cable from the computer or disable the network adapter. Use a smart phone (iPhone, Android-phone.. or other).. I used an Android OnePlus 6T for this, and share your phones internet connection. (I used the USB option). Make sure that your phone does not have WiFi enabled (just to make sure it doesnt share the same network as you previously used) Start steam Start Atlas See if you are able to re-connect. Im not sure if this will resolve your specific issue(s) but it did resolve my connection issue.. however.. as soon as I disconnected the phone and re-enabled my previous network adapter, I got kicked out from the server again. Keep in mind that this might end up in additional charge/fee from your mobile internet provider. I take no responsibility for this what so ever.. so its all up to you to try this out. It might also be as "simple" as if you use a different ISP then you previously used, you might be able to join. If anyone decides to try the above.. please report back if you were able to re-connect. For the devs: I have previously tried using a VPN to change my IP, and that did not resolve the issue.. I have tried with multiple IPs..
