battleye just means that kids who download their scripts will get caught and banned, the real hackers will still be there.

Support Tickets, Player Reports & Bug Reports
As of yesterday, we launched our support ticketing system. Right now we’re helping out folks with Company Ownership issues and Players getting stuck, though hopefully, the latter is not as necessary anymore due to the recent v10 changes. Over time, we’ll be increasing the options for how we can support players as we identify more areas where it is necessary and implement more tools to tackle these. Please note, that we’re always going to be leaning on the side of technical solutions to game problems versus direct Game Master intervention where we can help it. We’re a small team and our resources are better funnelled into development.

Yesterday afternoon I found that schooner in the bottom of my harbor with their dingy floating around. Meanwhile, my anchored sloop barely took any damage. Ships in freeports and unanchored ships on someone else's claim take large amounts of damage and will sink. Which, btw, is a great way to give the claim owner something exciting to do. If it weren't for massive numbers of sharks I might even consider investing in a diving rigged sloop.
i understand but this sloop was on my own land but i am not sure if i anchored it tho, on my land i can sometimes not anchor cause of weird under water stuff
-
so my sloops sank while i was offline on pve server, its still there under water with no holes in it and no1 stole anything from it so doesnt look like griefing, anyone else has boats sinking for no reason at all ?
-
it problably wont give them stuff back but if exploiters actually get banned then others might think twice before they do it, i know it sucks but sadly thats all we got atm

read the comments in the latest captains log.... they are looking into it....

Aye, we're looking into the reports people have put in on the forums/discord, etc. The gun changes were made so that they would be more impactful versus higher armoured characters and as a result, their base damage was reduced. However, our gameplay team are investigating an issue where some damage multipliers may be impacting wild creatures as well as tamed.

No worries! We will get there and I understand it's frustrating at the moment, but once we've had some more time to flesh out these systems we'll be taking a pretty firm stance against cheaters, BattlEye and the ticketing system will just be the beginning -- albeit, tickets are handled manually and by a human so they're not dealt with as rapidly, and we want to be confident before issuing a ban / wipe against a player. Which is why the sooner BattlEye and our other tools are in, the better -- and therefore a priority for us

it helps if you guys read the comments of the captains log before you complain:

they are adding battleeye within a few days and there is already a ''submit a ticket'' on top of this page to report hackers and exploiters.
