Some guy called Su showed up in a galleon this morning on this tiny Isle that me and another guy lives on its not a claimable isle and its not in lawless but it was a nice little place and now its just coverered completely in thatch foundations right up to all my buildings including shipyards, lighthouse etc. Tried to talk to him he just walked up to my face then walked away doesnt say a word, maybe not english, no idea.

I totally agree with this, SotD should drop more gold dependant on there level of course.

My copy of Atlas is installed on a 500Gb SSD drive I do have 2 x 3Tb sata drives and one other SSD but SSD tend to be smaller and a lot more expensive. I was only asking because this game is twice the size of even GTAv which has a lot more "game" in it, so I thought it was some kind of error.

...check the size of Atlas on your hard disk, for me it is taking up 112GB which seems more than a little excessive.

Would just like to know if it is actually this size or if I have some doubled up data or something and I need to reinstall, thanks!

We have lots of posts about griefers and Wildcard /Grapeshot Games / Instinct Games is not banning them. OK, how about just give us the same ORP System you used in Ark you already have the code.

We log off 15 mins later all our stuff is invulnerable and the griefers are stymied.

Please consider this. You as a Developer realised it was the way to go in Ark, why did you come to that decision?

Hoping a dev will let us know what this actually means. Does building on a ship count as activitity, does it need to be moved, does crew being alive fed and paid count? etc?

...or will Grapeshot (Wildcard / Instinct Games) put in place a system that will prevent its misuse and it being rendered useless from the start.

I mean in other games with bounties this is common:

"Player A" places a bounty on "Player B"

"Player B" asks friend to kill him and split the bounty

"Player A" has now been robbed.

Don't be late to a land grab.

Was no Buoys or lighthouse just the huge radius that the shipyards stops spawns at.

I have tested this carefully there is no doubt that a small shipyard has a very large area around it that stops all resources from respawning could this area please be made smaller, right now its around the same size as a claim flag which is a huge chunk of resources.

yeah found out there are 3 types of whales gentle mean and monstrous, first 2 are pretty easy to hunt 3rd is to be avoided, live and learn right?

If you had ever seen a monstrous whale you would have lost a ship to it, the one I saw was in J15 on EU Sirens Call it was on the north side of the large island in the middle. Go look for yourself

No I didn't bump it. I was travelling to an island it appeared between me and the island, Its first appearence was just a green health bar with no text, when you see one of these you will know how wrong you are

Personally I feel they need there agro range lowered so you at least have a chance to avoid it.

I could be wrong but what I see in that picture is an enemy boat half built and what looks like a new shipyard that has been placed next to it with no hope of ever launching a ship unless you build release then destroy the shipyard.

Your shipyard is empty theres has a half built ship in it - your post makes no sense.

So I just bumped into a Monstrous Sperm Whale, I say I bumped into it what actually happened was it targetted me from outside of render range (I could see a health bar) and then chased me down and sunk my sloop with one tap. With hind sight I dont actually think I could have done anything to escape this thing I turned as soon as I saw what it was and had good wind, for once in the right direction, however the Whale was faster then me.

What is the purpose of agressive wildlife in a game? I had no way to counter and effectively lost hours of work for no chance of profit.

You will say well you was in a sloop but honestly the damage it deals is insane if you can't out run it even a Galleon is going to be sunk by it.

I hope then when a support system is finally put in place, they will go back and look at these posts.

Dry docked you mean it hadn't been launched? If so when they stole the land the ship still not launched became theres.

How could they, they was in a rush to make more money.

A company just claimed two of my flags. Six of their players, one of me. First flag I got the message took a raft but was to late to contest. Second flag they dropped there flag WHILE I WAS STANDING NEXT TO MINE.  Flag stayed down as contested and we had a four hour stand off before I finally gave up. Broken system. 

Neither of these two flags had been down anywhere near three days.

Not sure about their age, but this seems to be becoming very common.

Caught these two in the act of overloading my raft together they where heavy enough and my locked boxes where empty.

They should be BANNED for this kind of griefing on the EU Servers  (Grid G2 The Sirens's Call)
