Let me start by saying I've been really enjoying this game, moreso than people in game / on reddit seem to be. I am a 100% solo player, no intentions on changing that unless some IRL friends decide to play. I've logged well over 30 hours, many spent learning everything. Still a noob but whatever.
I escaped to a lawless island where i settled down because claimed land is insane, on top of the resource spawns that werent fixed at the time. i decided to make lawless my home for the foreseeable future. Start my sloop build, its going great. Realize theres no metal. thats fine, well go back to freeport.
Set sail, hit land an hour later because wind sucks. craft 35 of each tool, keep us busy back at lawless. take another 200 metal for fun. Set sail back home, 3+ hours later.
cross the region border, Almost Home! all 4 vitamin deficiencys kick in. no problem, we've seen this before. Raise the sails, wait out the inevitable death like usual.
Go to respawn back on my raft to continue my exhausting trek home. whats this? i cant? no raft on my map? no bed? sorry, but i must say this is rediculous. i hate to leave the game ive become addicted to, but not only did i lose a decent chunk of progress, im forced to spawn at a crap location with nothing again.
