I Think making the game harder is a good thing in the long run. Maybe just keep a slightly more weaker version of PvE in while they juggle everything else they are working on and once its is a "smooth gameplay", then up the PvE gameplay to tough mode again.  I do not want to see a EZ mode game  but, with all the EA troubles piled onto other troubles it causes the PvE aspect to seem ten times harder than it actually is, unless you storm beaches in groups of 10+, maybe.

To eliminate many of the things? Na, they are wacky when you first start out but, can be managed through stats/skills when level up a bit, players have to be willing to drop points into places other than Pvp advantage is all .   IMO of course.

Most games wont list names or make a shame wall, don't know if that is just policy for the sake of policy or a legal thing. I know that if someone broke into my house and destroyed all my stuff irl and the police arrested the suspect.. I would want to know wtf it was who wronged me but, again.. donno if that is a doable thing or not without problems attached.

lol, some have said it is in the gamefiles though, same as the sub.  I do know it is in the pack as well devkit stuff. btw, ooh we are already seeing lots of modded googies popping up for unoffiicals   as well know of a couple unofficial servers that have modders on their team who are working on a few specific larger ones.

I am actually a huge fan of steampunk. lol. I am giving a pass on the sub, again because, fantasy based game. I am a lil nervous about that zeplin contraption, if it will be added but, only because if it is, I hope it is a slow moving, non combatant, passanger only deal.. because, if not, Kinda will draw the attention away from the sailing/ships what is the core of the  gameplay.

Yes, they have already gone over that about the concrete and pumas as well.   I don't mind some contraptions, my favorites have been the 1. Grapple 2. Glider 3.climbing picks and zip lines.

Every since they entered their games. Grapple is a must have, for me.  But, I think most of us agree, Ships go down too easy and in too many unintended ways. heh heh. Not saying, make stone ships, though.

Pretty sure the issue is, Op wants his ships not to be sunk daily. :P  Krazmuuze has a point about that, reality.. I mean it is a Fantasy based Pirate game. They could pop up with a end tier ship that is built with fantastical materials and powered by the Golden Age, Power stones, for all that "reality" is worth. :P NOT that I would approve, I stopped playing when tek came out, but for unofficial severs where we never used it. lol.

Oh, and devs.. IF you do change it, please for the love of fluffy bunnies and mean badgers a like.. do NOT make it something that uses Salt!

Remember that this grind seems worse now, in general, only because you are both playing the game, what is not easy mode game and dealing with the EA changes constantly and other things that have nothing to do with the actual gameplay, currently in its development.   Keep in mind how the game "will be" after the EA process and not "in the moment of gameplay"

Maybe the metal for the extra armor stripping on the uhh..walls?  Paste you can as well get from spiders when chopping them up, I found that out early on but, it is not a wide spread thing as far as, its hard for some to get ahold of sap, sugar cane/sugar or honey in some areas. Metal, you can at least get small amounts in any stone you hit.

While I do agree that, as top Tier building in the game that it should be stronger and cost more, in general, I think the paste is a bit much for your regular player. Maybe consider a less evasive material to get a hold of/craft in its place or drop the strength back down of the stone builds and add another top tier building structure that is much stronger and needs a lot of materials to make, overall.

That's Alright, I have seen some negative reviews that say things like "They released an unfinished game" "this game is not even a finished game, I want my money back!"

So,  no.. I don't think some people even know that games can be sold as an "unfished game" let alone, know what EA is .. sigh.

Maybe people expect games to be in Beta stage not Alpha, upon release. That is what some seem to think it "should be" when it is not.

Edit to say: You do not have to re buy the game when it is a finished product.

Most just paint all their sails to show colors here but,   I was thinking the same thing, with the smaller flag (triangle) you could lower and raise, at the tops of the Sails or even one that you can plant at the back, maybe., if you want a separate mechanic than the sails themselves.

This game is at its best on RP PVP servers  100% Whitelisted ones. You get to immerse yourself as Pirates/Navy/Merchants and build towns that look like the trailer and fight wars on even ground and don't have to worry about players exploiting/offlining/griefing.  heh heh heh.

Well then consider this pirate game is Pvp in its truest form (besides the sploits) and consider the PvE and not the true pirate game but, rather a place for many players to enjoy the PvE content of the game. Because, that is what it is there for. What you imagine or not.

I mean, I swear that some of you would cheat at Chess out there, I place piece down "check", you reach over and snag a queen off the next table and plop it down, "Check mate, I win, lrn  to play nub."

Pvp, I agree, fight back but, it is PvE, players shouldn't have to "fight back" even if they could "fight back" and most people would rather NOT use exploited mechanics in the game, I know it is hard for some of you to imagine that there is something wrong with cheating at a game, but, it is wrong.

Fist of all, Ty for getting out of bed and racing back to work to shut the hacker(s) and server down ASAP, last night, guys.

As far as that rollback, lol, The streamer who seemed to be targeted first and his group had literally just spent a couple of hours fighting to regain part of their island  back from another group who had managed to claim a flag  within their base territory when, the Whales and dragons started spawning all around the island, They got busy killing one of the Whales that was spawned in the air right  next to them, while waiting for their flag to cap, it was at about 15mins left before the retake.  Roll back 3, hours. Streamer logs back in, inside his other bunker, the others from the company back and spread all over as they were before racing back to help take back their base... The other flag re-taken again, the other group in control and sleeping inside it and out.. I logged out as they started trying to take it back again.

It was like The fight to reclaim, the reclaim and the hacker attack against them just after never happened and they had to start from scratch.

I can see why some would be a lil upset there. I hope the correct party was banned and you continue to stay on those bans when ever they are "caught" cheating/hacking and using exploits.

Edit to say: 1 of the company members was out and about because, he had just gotten his fou.. so it rolled back just before he  did so. heh

Maybe an admin snapped under the stress, hope he or she gets medical attention.

But, yeah, seems whales and dragons were falling out of the sky at other locations as well, after this started here.

They had just taken back their flag on the island and bam.. it started raining dragons and whales.

Well, they are working on all fronts really, teams set up to handle different areas. Just because you see new content (being created by one team) doesn't mean they are not working  on performance (another team) or technical issues (another team).   I do agree, when they do wipe the map, it will clean up the tons and tons of debris out there/sleepers who are not going to wake up/ building parts who knows where.. and a lot of trash left over and piling up since launch and all its troubles and performance should improve from that a  lot.

Many players who were fine fighting the lag and bugs, understanding that it is a game still in development and more than happy to assist with it all,  decided to step away because of the lack of removing the other players who had been cheating the gameplay against them. It seems they have started addressing that, so if they keep up with that and gives players back a fair playing field, I expect that many will return to playing. Numbers will always go up and down after a major patch as well, to check to see if what was bothering them personally had been resolved.  The game is still  early in its EA, it has plenty of time to continue its growth, rather player count is at a low or a high. It is a long term thing, not a two month fix or done. heh heh

Official servers will have your immersion ruined and map wiped on Official as well at some point  I play Unoffiical myself but, you as well have to remember that what yo udo on Unofficial does not "count" in the long run, What yo do on Offiical does. Though, if youre looking for a more relaxing "private sever feel" yeah, finding a good unofficial may be good choice for some.

Boring people, usually get bored first so, stop being a boring person.

But, yeah they right now have the basics in the game, only. They have a good couple years to add what else they plan to add along the way. heh.

Decay shouldn't be a problem if you get in, do your business and get out again, If you are that concerned for your bigger ships, take a smaller one in instead?
