I have a friend I was playing with yesterday, unfortunately he couldn't set sail with me across the lands. I left J9 with my husband and we are now in K8. My friend cannot create a new character, cannot login and is at a stand still on account of J9 not showing up on the map as an available option.
I don't know if you guys are already working on it or not, but this could be a very difficult situation down the road. There needs to be other options more readily available rather than unable to create a new character on a new map etc. Perhaps how Ark did it when you transfer a new character to a previously played on server you can choose to delete the old character when you join it. When people have limited days off and want to enjoy a game, it's definitely frustrating enough going through the growing pains as a community but add to that the frustrations of a person who has a character they put so much work into locked into another server and unable to do anything about it.
If you have any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this situation that would be great as it appears this could be any server not just E4, J9, L5 etc.
