yup they surely can , happened to us 2 days ago in middle on the ocean while we were offline

First of all , my english is not perfect , sorry for that Wouldn't it be possible to make an official server where players would be part of this server while not being in the fully multiplayer world? i mean some kind of instance , using the same ressources from your servers as if they were on the normal one but allowing them to play alone without encountering other players or even allowing them to play with friends only?

Just got our sloop stolen while we were offline "confirmed in tribe log" so yes it does happen , this shouldn't be enabled in pve at all... We will stop playing Atlas until there's a possible change about this
