The way the PVP is, its not fun, they need to put a way to secure construction, actually they should put some island PVP and others PVE, that way you have space to build you safe base and still will wanto to fight for some resource in the PVP island.
Other way is to implement time for war, like: declare war, in 10 hours a war will begin and will have 5 hours with damage PVP on.
At least they should implement more NPCs for PVE, Pirate Ships to aboard, merchant to steal from and a Marine to run.

I already did that, I disembark one riding him too. Maybe he got stuck, break the sail, maybe it help.

Try a lawless region, there you can build initial ships and tools, then navigate until you find some free place to build you base.

so assuming they increase the weight, and they remove players limit sinking boats. Anybody else with that situation will be screwed. People tend to abandon rafts all over the damn place.
Maybe they can resolve that by make deteriotation fast for rafts in enemy territory.

Blueprints are for that, maybe tou até Just in the start of the game, but Sion you will need to farm rare resources.

2x is the perfect rate at this moment, you can farm, you can sail, you can build and you can lose all without kill yourself or break the PC, this game is about explore, not about to farm.

I think the SoD should spawn and stay only at night, make more sense and help small and solos guilds travel.

My company just lost one full ship in the shipyard for the bug of the damned ships, 2 days of hard farm of the full company (we are small with 5 people).

I am in the same, they need to favour the exploration. But the map not change too much, the great majority just look in the net for the full map.
