yeah this sucks, there's gotta be a bug in the loading process for the game cause it keeps freezing and crashing when I try to join a server.

Which Server are you guys in> The issue for me is the game crashes every time I try to join a server, I haven't even gotten to make a character yet. Hopefully once my new PC its built I won't have as many issues.

You are aware that you paid for the alpha test version of the game right, thats what Early Access is, it's a given it's going to be buggy, they hadn't tested it with this many people before launch, it's going to take them some time to fix it. In all this is not a scam cause when it's fixed and working, you're gonna have a 60 dollar game for 25 bucks, thats a good deal not a scam. I'm right there with you in waiting to be able to even play, Heck I wasn't even expecting to be able to download it on my PC to begin with and was planning on playing it on my new pc once it's built in a few weeks. This game has potential but we gotta be patient and report bugs when you see them, and I'm not saying you have to like the devs to like the game, Wildcard isn't the best Dev team when it comes to doing business, but they did put out Ark and despite the bugs it still has people still play it so they do put out good games when the games actually work. Be Patient we'll get in eventually, I'm happy knowing I won't have to pay 30 or 60 bucks for it later.

I can say after testing it a bit, the settings do affect the loading screen a bit but it's kinda pointless at the same time as it's still crashing, the only difference worth noting is the bar appears to fill up full before it freezes and crashes. This is with Settings on High and Bandwidth on low and appears the server selected can affect this too. But yeah pointless since it still freezes.

I think it might be a bandwidth problem, when I set mine to low the Primal bp thingy went from barely loaded to almost fully loaded before crashing

be patient guys they know of the issue and are working on it, Christmas was yesterday so its reasonable to expect it to take a little longer to find the fix, they have many fires and bugs to work on, be patient and continue to post as much information about your issues and bugs.

In another topic on the same issue someone has posted that the Devs have taken notice of this issue and they are dealing with numerous fires and issues with the game, given today is Christmas we should cut them a little slack for today and give them time to figure out the issue. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it and happy holidays to the rest. Hopefully we can join the others in game soon

thats good to hear. As much as I would like to get in tomorrow on my days off I hope they give their team time with their families

feels like it should be something simple, no one is saying anything about it other than they have the same issue, it's been three days now, would be nice to know that the Devs are at least aware of this issue

I've been having this issue for the last three days, I can start the game just fine but when I try to join a server it freezes up and crashes, this image is part of the error message I get sometimes when it crashes, if anyone can make sense of it and help use figure out how to fix this error so those of us with this issue can actually start playing the game we paid for.

I'm having the Same issue though I doubt my ram is the issue as I have 16 GBs of Ram.

I'm having this same issue, game starts up just fine, but when I try to join a server doesn't matter how full, empty how the Ping is which server and which spot I pick game freezes and crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled validated the files. Everything seems to be fine at at the Surface level. So no idea why this game won't let people join.
