  1. Yea, I'm sure you're confused...  because you seem to think this is 'Ark'

    from the 'update'...

" ATLAS is, especially to solo players and smaller groups, and ensure that those who cannot invest as much time are still able to experience the fun that ATLAS has to offer. "

Dang maybe, just maybe it's not all just about 'groups' as you think it is... "I suggest to people to not play solo, as the game isn't meant to be played solo,"

Solo player can do, but hard. And need a lot of time.

Kraken is a sea boss, for land boss we'll need these impregnated creatures. And so, people will buy theses on market (as too hard to be achieve solo if you don't have time. So you could buy some with gold/ressource, as in Ark).

Do you played Ark before ? Seems not 😕
Cause it was really the same, and part of gameplay/endgame.

Breeding was hard, need patience/luck (expetially for mutation), but with that, you could "create" awesome creature, wich peoples needed for bosses.
Breeding is a big part for market 😄

all you're doing is making assumptions and trying to present them as fact of intended design.     My point still stands, perhaps you need the reminder the intent of this to be in EA an approximate 2 years if I recall correctly...

  3. No, what you said was "Breeding is not meant to be done alone"...  plain and simple.    Barring a direct quote from a dev, you're talking out of your arse.

Taking into consideration this is EA, we don't know how difficult or annoying it is 'meant' to be.

You have a counter argument to OP, great....voice it, but put some though and effort into beyond the pedantic BS.

    1. I dont think stasis always effects feeding. I think it's a bug. We tested it and our bear kept eating with no issue.

    2. You seem unaware that you cant feed babies berries/turnips/and potatoes.

..I think you should tell that to the baby bear I'm currently sitting.

I can feed it a variety, what it 'chooses is another... but I've watched as it chose meat, and when meat was not available... berries

The age thing is not a bad idea and Star citizen has been working on it for a few years now. The problem is this dev team needs to fix the FoY so its for everyone to get and not just big companies.

      They've talked about it....

But 1> You don't have to hunt down a potential 'mate'
             2> They're not stacking the player with a bunch of debuffs  (Str/Stam/Weight & 20% Health/Stam regen debuff).

  6.   The stat buffs bed enough, but farking 20% Health and Stam regen?

Sure, yea it's 'EA'... so save that bullshyte for the end of dev cycle instead of the bloody start.
Based on what 's been seen/experienced so far, there's a perv in HQ that gets off watching avatars die, futile deaths.

  7. Welcome to 2x weekend, enjoy the extra experience, gold etc... if/when you can actually get outside your home/hut/fort etc.

don't be alarmed we will be repeatedly interupting  your attempts to gain benefit of these bonus's with frequent client/server updates
and roll backs.      'Share and enjoy'

  8. Same 'reasoning' that predators don't attack predators...   Giant Snake 'alpha' & 'Alpha Tiger'...  that's a dust up I'd of loved to watch...

it's as much 'logic' as a darn wolf or tiger etc fighting a pig or bird... then coming straight for you w/o killing the other first.

  9.  Run into this several times...  good new is, if you don't take too long you may be able to sail there and recover the ship...

If you don't delay too long and can get back to it, I suggest destroying the bed, crossing a zone line, place a new bed and cross your fingers.

  10.  Simply put... not 'true'

I have been able to 1> place a single claim, on an island in a temperate zone... after hitting several looking for inactive owners & large pre-existing claims
and started a settlement on an lawless island.   While difficult, the outer lands while harsh do offer some available areas...though they require more active maintenance and care... (EX: to maintain a raft/ship with a bed you can spawn @/to)

  11.   Sheehs tonight it's been hideous....

logged in one time to see 4-5 vultures attack my roof...  no sooner i get through them, then it's a wolf...  then two more fly inside and start damaging everything.

It's a lawless grid, so it's not like I can spawn inside,  and sure as heck cant melee the darn wolf down..  and if the raft/ship is too close the damn things attack it.

The wolves and other creatures are just ridiculous. Who has seen a wolf or any creature just eat at a structure over and over?  I know they did this in Ark but those were dinosaurs.  You can run toward a building and run around the corner but the wolf will agro on the building and just sit there biting it over and over. It is just ridiculous and annoying. There is nothing good about the way we are battling the wolves and other creatures in Atlas. I do hope they fix this soon.

Yea, between the damn wolves and vultures  trynig to eat the walls on my place... <smh>

IDK what you mean by vertical ceiling (isn't that a wall?) but wall at 45 degrees is a ramp - make roof and press T to cycle. Same with 45 degree doors (does not work with thatch).

Q selects snap point, T changes "type". Wall can be a wall, doorway, window, fence, etc. Roof can be roof, stairs, roof door, ramp, etc. Experiment.

I can only presume they're deeper in the tree than i am then... <shrug>
