  1. So I made a test server, and connected, then logged out and went to sleep.  The next day I could not log in due to timeouts and it said that the server day was 4378.

I read hear that doing the clear all of redis fixes, well, it wiped all progress and let me log  to make a new character but day was still 4378 or more.

Is this a common problem and if so is there a better solution?

  2. Hi, So I am using the small ServerGrid example provided in the geri editor files.  Apart from changing the name and ID and removing the ship paths nothing has changed.

The server shows up in the list of unofficial servers, but when selecting it it goes to the start grid select screen and says "NO Sessions Found" and refreshing the list makes no difference.

I have fully disabled the windows defender firewall in case that was a problem, and I am forwarding the ports properly,  and my router shows traffic on the ports.

Any idea why it  it won't show starting grids?

  3. One of the best ways to make sure they don't forget about us is the be heard, the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Now the devs and very fond of Twitter, and are very active there, so let's keep prompting them.  Just remember to do it respectfully, don't be rude.  They are one our sidem  they want to help ups but they are very busy and keep getting pulled from one thing to another.

So start here, with our friendly community champion Jatheish, he is a great guy, and very busy.  https://twitter.com/Jatheish

Then there are the lead devs, https://twitter.com/jeremystieglitz and  https://twitter.com/arkjesse

Also the main account, but it will probably get lost i nthe noise https://twitter.com/sailtheatlas

Please be gentle, no need to stoop to the level of the average internet user 🙂

My go-to is ReliableSite, been with them for years.
If you do end up with them, use my ref! HERE

I actually plan to integrate this into Pterodactyl Panel (as it uses docker and can handle this sort of thing if done correctly).

Its similar to Kubernete's for deployment, but its made for hosting game servers. Should check it out!

That's interesting, but for me probably overkill, I just want to host a test server for making mods.

I sure hope they dont forget Linux, we need to keep prompting them, so don;t forget about Twitter, they have always been more active on Twitter than in here and other forums.
