    To report this morning at around 8:30am CST my server is now up and working. It's running version 4.1 - No lag, can connect right away. Very large space. It's pretty nice. Thank you for for your replies I appreciate you! Edit: I just want to add that the way things are being handled to resolve issues and patching are pretty timely on both ends.

    I wasn't having any issues with rubber banding this morning on official PVE. The server was at capacity.

    I use Nitrado, there are 4 tiles, you can expand this to multiple servers to create a larger world. 1 tile per server.

    I think you set your expectations a little high. If you are not having a great time with an official server, why not try a private one? I'm not saying this is a solution but at least it would allow you some time to enjoy some of the game while other issues are being worked out. I see a lot of posts about the private servers being more stable because of the lower population.

    I was finally able to get mine up and working this morning, it's currently running 4.1 with server host Nitrado. The main servers are just overloaded right now, regardless of how many salty sailors there were before launch, a lot of people are swarming to try it out. Hopefully over the next few weeks everything will smooth sailing.

    so steamlibrary\common\atlas\tools has a bat file, but its missing the mapeditor.exe - Been searching around, but no luck so far =(

    Anyone have a clue I am using Nitrado, and I'm one day in and I have defined a home tile, but the server wont start. Do we need the Dev Tools to make maps? what gives? this is so sloppy.

    I have a Nitrado server, and when I try to start it, it says you need to upload a configuration. I think you need to use DEV tools that aren't out yet. It's becoming annoying I cant figure it out. I would not recommend buying a private server until all the information on how to create one is out.
