is there a way to join companies from outside the game that would transition to in the game whenever we can actually connect one eternity from now?

I am in this same boat. I am really looking forward to playing this game and hope the connection issues smooth out soon. I am at over 7 hours in game with only approximately 10 minutes of actual in game time. Long enough to connect to an outlaw spawn point, create my character then swim till i drowned because it dropped me in the middle of an ocean nowhere near land. I really hope to be able to enjoy this game but right now my hopes are not high.

So is there an update for when the servers might actually work for the rest of us who have ALREADY PAID for your game?
