our small company decided to wait till the wipe, we all knew it was coming, and will probably happen maybe 2ish mores maybe more up to include official release. Early access, helps them test the game, and report things and get thigns right. EA is basicly the new beta, which you pay to get into at a highly discounted rate. Once it goes full release it will go to full game price and you will never have to pay extra money to continue playing ((unless expansions etc etc)). When you buy the game, steam WARNS you this is an early access game. The developers have said, everythign tells you, nothing is permanent. Wipes happen. do NOT play this game if you cant deal with it. Wait till full release. full stop

its not silly, its an official line of communication, and i do belive their biggest one. so expecting people to check it is perfectly acceptable. you dont even have to create an account to do so

they did. there was a twitter post specificly stating they were doing like a 3 hour roll back

Lylethrose from Blood Templar chiming in on this one. We made it through 3 phases of that fight to be insta killed by some RANDOM, mechanic. Most of us did. Its a problem, because you cant avoid something you cant see. it just happens.

I do disagree you dont actually need an armada, maybe 20 ships or well cordianted players will be fine.
 

The insta kill mechanic, and the ships of the damned not being able to be hurt (atleast on PVE from what i understand)) needs to be fixed.

All in all though it was fun.

let us know how razor tooths come out, those im interested in, which i assume sicne they spawn on golden age ruins, you gotta be careful taming all of them lol

a hacker spawned in a bunch of stuff to mess with a company of streamers and destroy their stuff. no they cant just remove their items.

question, are you stupid? you do understand how information technologies work right? do you understand in the slightest anything IT, other then how to turn on your computer? the time, the effort it takes to SHUT DOWN a server let alone 500 different clustered servers, ((while yes this is probably 4 different mega machines)) you dont just hit a power switch. the fact that they got into the office within 30 minuets of the reports, and got it shut down is amazing. give them a break at 4:30 in the flipping morning

also like stated you don thave to use them, no accoutn needed to read their public tweets

dude there was a massive hack. it was an emergency killswitch they had to enact before to much was damaged. give them time. they will issue a statement when they can fix it. if they warned you it was comign down they would have to do farther roll backs. also you dont need twitter to get updates. just google play atlas twitter and its public

this isn't a big update. the big update was earlier today. this is a hard shutdown of the servers due to a hack

lol no longer specilation, jat has confimed damage of server. lets actually give jat a roudn of a pplause for that quick wake up and get into the office

speculation is its a hard shut down. there was another spawn hack/admin hack . jat probably got into the office and shut it down

- Disabled non allied players and creatures basing on anchored or docked ships which can be toggled with a server-setting on PVE servers with the in Game.ini - set bPvEAllowNonAlignedShipBasing=true If you want to allow non allies to be able to be on your ship

so no, not just encumbered, this is not a bug and is intended, dont jump on peoples ships. period

we are on c10 of hydras den. We are currently reworking some claims to allow more people to build, but as we already have 3 people livign in the neutral areas, im runnign out of spots.

fyi there is no unlocking dyes in atlas, all dyes are unlocked from the begning, and the atlas pnt converter has FOREST which is not a supported atlas color, all others are

Ive nothing to be slighted by other than people who seem to expect things to be handed to them in a game that requires a lot of time and effort. My crew and I have worked for weeks to obtain what we have and we’ve all got 200+ hours in game and a whole island now to show for it. The island is full of Alpha wolves but it’s our island damnit.

The land claim system is fantastic. Don’t change a thing, Grapeshot. 

 

exactly, I own half of the island im on, working on getting the rest. We even reorginized flags to allow people to live on our island. Its a nice place, and we all work together. The system is actually fantastic, and does remind me of nullsec in eve. to me , they achieved their goal of getting that right.
