    The Chinese control majority of the desert islands, but that's it. They strong but can be taken out.
    My guild has a policy of all English speaking guilds are welcome to open diplomacy as long as they are not dead weight.

    From what i have seen in this game so far its almost impossible to solo play. I think if you going to plan on playing solo then go onto the PvE server (atleast you are more protected).
    That being said the PvP server's are dedicated for the strongest to survive and the weak to get eaten. 
    I joined this game with 15 of my friends the day before launch. By Launch we had about 45. Now just over 2 weeks in we close to 200 people. 
    You can easily play this game with 3-8 friends as long as you are active, but you must limit yourself to smaller ships. If you use the bigger ships then bigger guilds will see you as a threat and treat you as such. 
    I would say about 50% of guilds use a 100% kill on sight tactic for all ships coming near there territory. So for small groups just be careful out there.

    The Knights Templars are recruiting new members to our tight knit guild ranks. We are a well run guild that has achieved the critical balance between competitive PVP and PVE sides of the game. We are an independent guild with 15 claims and 6 castles. Our main castle is one of the largest,and most advanced castles in the game, constituting of a Castle keep & castle walls, as well as city districts to organize it.

    We enjoy taking on new players and turning them into strong fighters that can participate in the guilds almost daily Instanced Battles (100 v 100 PVP/50 V 50 pPVP). Open world PVP always available to defend our vast holdings whether in judgement hour or otherwise.

    We have Grand Master Craftsmen in every PVE skill and gladly assist new players to develop their crafting skills. The guilds claims specialize  in different professions and all guild activity is centered around the Grand Commandery located at the imposing Black Templar castle. 
    We are an international guild with members from over 20 countries, although English is the primary language used. We have 70 active members with over 250 characters on Avalon.
